WTH DID I JUST READ!
This was a struggle to get through. The hero is a ridiculous selfish person and the heroine is a naive girl. I’d say woman but she is not one and is the dumbest character I have ever read. Beyond pathetic and so gullible when it comes to the hero. She had a chance to pick this great guy who loved and adored her but she picks the loser who puts her through so much stress and drama. This was a double hockey sticks NO for me!Wasted money for sure.

AMAZING!
‘Do you think you can fall for two different men, I mean really fall for them, and love them both at the same time?’ – StevieStevie Sandrine’s first love was the boy across the street, who just so happened to be her brother’s best friend. Everett Taylor was the bad boy who couldn’t commit. The lead singer in a band, Everett felt like he could never be enough for Stevie. Stevie loved him fiercely, but it was never quite enough. Fast forward a few years and Stevie meets Aiden Prince. Aiden knows he could be what Stevie needs if she would just open up to him and give him a chance. When finally she does, their love grows, but when Everett comes back into Stevie’s life, it becomes too much. Stevie loves both Aiden and Everett, but she can only have one, and by choosing one she is going to have to say goodbye to the other forever.Angst. So. Much. Angst. Page one and I was instantly drawn in. I had to know what was going to happen, I had to know who Stevie was going to choose. I will say, that normally, when I read a book that involves love triangles, I end up hating one of the guys and am grateful when the heroine chooses who she chooses. In this case though, I loved both Everett and Aiden equally, therefore I didn’t know who I was rooting for. To me, that is what makes this book stand out from others that I have read. The way that Ella Fields wrote about the love and the heartache and everything in between when she was giving us this story, it made you want Stevie to choose both Everett and Aiden. This book was beautifully written and broke my heart in the best way possible. This book isn’t just a love triangle, it is a journey of discovery for one young woman to see where her heart truly belongs.

Amazingly Beautiful Told Story 5+ Stars
There are very few love triangle books that leave me satisfied by the end of the book, even when the couple I want to get together does. There is usually something missing or leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Serenading Heartbreak didn’t. It was so much more.We meet Everett and Stevie as young teens, we feel their connection very early on. It was head first, all in kind of love. One that passionate and rare. One that due certain paths is bound to shatter over time. Is it enough to be pieced back together? For a good portion of the book I was hoping so.I fell for Everett pretty fast, he’s the type of hero that I want to embrace and help heal. After going on the road with his band and not keeping contact with Stevie, things start falling apart. By this time Stevie is in college and here enters Aiden. Aiden is the complete opposite of Everett. He is the all star athlete. He’s loyal and kind, the type of hero you root for. He’s one that slowly sneaks into your heart and makes you drunk on his love. When reading love triangles like this there is always just one couple I want together. I have never experienced the feeling of loving both hero’s. Toward the end of the book I determined I would be content with either relationship. Even though I knew where it was heading and someone I loved would be broken hearted. It was going to hurt either way.I want to take a moment to praise Ella’s writing. There is just something so beautiful and exquisite with the way she forms words. I’m grateful that she shares her talent with the world and feel fortunate to read her work.5+ stars

He Who Makes Her Heart Sing
Serenading Heartbreak was an emotionally charged rollercoaster ride read like no other. My poor heart had no clue what lay ahead and still hasn't fully recovered from this book. There have been some books that I've read for the pure enjoyment and others like Serenading Heartbreak that I just couldn't help but feel every emotion possible all within the span of a truly poignant read. From first love to new love and finding one that's forever these amazing characters took me on a turbulent journey that pulled my emotions every which way possible. I fell in love with both Everett and Aiden and couldn't imagine having to be in Stevie's shoes. I was so torn as I experienced the exhilarating joy of first love to the utter devastation of its loss and then the hesitant hope of new love. I sighed, swooned, raged, ranted and let's not even mention the tears I shed as I rooted so hard for these characters.By the end my heart felt like it had been through the blender after being repeatedly broken and put back together again. The angst, heartbreak, and every emotion possible I could feel consumed me while reading this book. Some loves are messy, raw, painful, yet extraordinarily beautiful like the love found inside the pages of this spellbinding and emotionally charged book. Serenading Heartbreak is a definite must read that will leave an indelible mark on your heart.

So good
“To fall in love twice was a beautiful rarity. To be in love with two men at the same time was a cruel twist of fate.”This book is absolutely incredible, and probably one of my favourite love triangle books EVER. Writing my review for this one is proving to be very hard because I just can’t find adequate words to express how much I adored it. If you aren’t scared of all the angst and emotion, and are fully prepared to go for a ride on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster, then you need to pick up this book NOW!!I was so torn between the two heroes in this story, I loved them both for different reasons. While I’m still not 100% sure that Stevie made the right decision (in my eyes), Ella’s writing was just so beautiful and convincing that in the end I didn’t really feel let down or disappointed. I think I would have felt this way no matter the outcome - happy for one and sad for the other, because I genuinely loved them equally.SERENADING HEARTBREAK is without a doubt going to be in my top reads of 2019, and I can’t wait to read it all over again.

Nice Enough
This was a nice enough story but it didn't blow me away or match the excitement or potential I felt when reading the blurb of this new release from the author.

Perfectly angsty, exceptional writing.
I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I fell in love, I had my heartbroken, again and again. And then Stevie did life for herself, grew up a little and life started to fall into place. But I still fell in love and cried again- happy tears this time.I want to add soo much to this but don’t want to give it away. Just know that Ella’s writing here is impeccable. I could feel the angst from the first page. By Chapter 5, I shed my first tear. I fell in love with Everett only to hate him not long after. And the same can be said for Aiden. He made me swoon, fall in love and the naivety that comes with young adults made me hate him. But then we went through it all again and you still couldn’t pick which one Stevie would choose. As Adela pointed out to her- choosing one would mean saying goodbye to the other. And that’s really hard when you have loved and been hurt by them both.I loved the ending, the HEA was perfect and the glance into the other persons HEA was fitting also.

Love Triangle Perfection!!!
So I have finally found something good about long haul flights...Uninterrupted reading when you have Ella Fields on your kindle, and 13 hours flying time ahead!!Serenading Heartbreak is a stand out amongst my favourites for this year in heart destroying glory and is easily a 6 star read for me!This epic love-triangle tale is up there with Kate Stewart's Drive and K.L. Kreig's Black Swan Affair in my opinion; Ella has so masterfully woven this beautiful heart wrenching story of Stevie's love for two very different men, so much so that I was so torn as to who she should end up with, that I was even trying to bargain mentally with the author whilst reading, to let her have them both! Not everybody will feel equally about these men; one is easy, sensitive and supportive, the other troubled and prone to self absorption and destruction.Nor will we each ultimately agree with where Stevie's decision rests in the end.But I can almost guarantee you will be as invested emotionally as she is, such is the power of Fields' affective words. Her relationships with Everett and Aidan evolve throughout the book in a seesawing of alliances, passion and anger, and equally so to did my allegiance to each man follow suit. They are both easy to love, and you will wear your heart on your sleeve and need to keep the tissues close as the finale beckons Everett's 'Clover' and Aidan's 'Petal', to leave one man behind.

Heartbreaking and stunning!
This book pulled on emotions i didn't even know i had, Ella's writing is amazing. I've never felt so torn between the two male character's. It was hard to pick and even then I kept going back and forth. I bought this book in paperback straight after I read it as its just that good!
