Ducati Obsession
The photos are gorgeous. The evolution sequence is thrilling. The writing is not fluff. I would say it is dense and technical - a bit over my head, but it guides me to explore more!It seems to me that the author really knows his stuff and I appreciate this approach to content as it makes for a serious and seriously blissed out ride.I've got it by my bed and still have a lot to go through. Nice to flip through rather than web surf. Ducatista!

Not bad, however
Not bad, however, while in my youth I had a pretty hot racing Ducati and the bikes are a racing thing of beauty (for me) for my 60th Birthday I bought a Monster. Now, if you really know anything about Ducati's, the Monster "created" the whole naked bike thing, it's been around over 20 years and probably saved the company from going out of business. It's not even much of a thought in this book which is really too bad.

A (good but not complete) Ducati coffee table book with magnificent pictures.
A wonderful book which is beautifully printed and has magnificent pictures of the various Ducati models.Falloon has chosen to give some models a more than thorough coverage (e.g. the 2006 Paul Smart replica). However personally I do miss some, for Ducati, significant bikes s.a. the Monster and Paso 750.Especially when the title is "The Art of Ducati" these should have be included (either briefly or extensively).Same is for the main designers (since it is called the “Art”): would have been nice to have a small chapter about them (e.g. Massimo Tamburini, Miguel Galluzi, Pierre Terblanche, Giandrea Fabbro). Also I would have preferred models without all the race stickers since that gives the reader a better chance to Judge the lines of the bikes (e.g. 999).I still have to wait for the ultimate Ducati coffee table book, but until then this will have to do.

Comprehensive, very well photographed, a must for the Ducati enthusiast
An enjoyable, comprehensively described and very well photographed book for the enthusiastic Ducati owner, my purchase was followed by a 2nd copy as a birthday gift for a friend of my wife who was also delighted with it.

Brilliant enthusiast book, could do with a new version.
Really high quality book. Bought as a present and my Ducati loving Dad loves it!A little out of date now, only goes up to the 1199 Panigale & Diavel.

Beautiful glossary of motorcycles
Got this book cheaper from Amazon, advertised in "classic bike", the photos are wonderful, warts and all, shame a lot of the pictures are across the middle of the book, but besides that very nice
