PLEASE READ: 1. Recommend using Duracell AA alkaline battery and we have tested. Lasts 30 hours of lighting alone, lasts 6 hours of fan alone, fan and lights at the same time last for 3 hours. 2. This is small fan which only has 2 fan blades so that it only fit for 2-3 person tent and circulates the air, but would need to be hung above the user and will certainly not cool more than a 2 foot diameter area. 3. Every piece of our products is checked before sending. If you're not satisfied with our product, you will get a new replacement or refund without any question. 4. There is no separate fan and light switch. All of modes available by a button, so the sequence goes as follows: Off/Fan High/Light High/Fan&Light Low/Off. If you want to turn off the fan, to avoid getting blasted with super bright LED in your eyes, please adjust the angle then push the button in two more times. 5. Please note this portable fan light does NOT store power without rechargeable batteries. 6. Be sure to remove the dry battery when using USB power supply to avoid damage to the battery and product components. 7. When using NiMH No. 5 rechargeable battery, please do not add it after the battery is fully discharged. You need to keep more than 10% of the power, and add power in time. Additionally, this rechargeable battery in the slots can be charged by USB directly. 8. MILIJIA Camping Light can act as a light source as well as a source of air flow. However, the lighting will be weaked if you turn the light and the fan on at the same time. This is unavoidable, if you mind it please buy carefully. Specification: Voltage: 4. 5VLighting Power: 1. 5WDimensions: 7. 9 X 7. 9 X 2. 5 inches Power Supply: Operated on USB Cable(Included), 3pcs AA batteries required(Not included) or 3pcs AA Ni MH rechargeable batteries (not included)Package include: 1 x Tent Light Fan1 x USB Cable

Bright Light, But Flawed
This lantern is bright, no doubt about it, and for that reason, I really like this product and won't be returning it. However, there is a design flaw that bugs me. With my lantern, when you press it down to close, sometimes the light does not turn off, you have to give it a few whacks to shut it off. Unfortunately, because I keep the lantern in my camping bin which gets tossed in the back of my truck, the lantern can easily pop open a little bit and turn out...burning out the batteries as the box sits in my garage for a couple of weeks before the next camping trip. It can be fixed with a think rubber band, but why should I have to rig a product to fix a flaw it shouldn't have?

Perfect light for fishing
I bought this light mainly for my husband when we go fishing at night, and it's wonderful. It does give off a really bright light for a small lantern like this one, and I love that it takes AA batteries. This light will also be very beneficial for us when our lights go out because we normally light candles and use flashlights when that happens, so this will be MUCH better, and our kids won't be so scared of the dark.

better lantern. Gave this to a friend who needed ...
Lightning wasn't very bright with my rechargeable batteries and it didn't spread light very well vertically. Ended up buying a different led lantern in the same form factor that did everything this does but also has a solar panel, built in rechargeable battery AND a USB output to charge electronic devices. The kicker is, I paid less for the newer, better lantern. Gave this to a friend who needed some camping gear.

Worth it
Great for the price. I left it in the pouring rain on accident, it still works! Its incredibly bright, so I put a thin shirt over it when I'm in my tent. Obviously not the greatest lamp (just look at the price) but I would recommend this product for campers who are on a budget.

great for fishing
this lantern is super bright. great for when I arrive at my fishing spot before the sun comes out. it produces enough light to tie lures and get set up. Also shows other fisherman that the spot I am in is taken so they hopefully do not make the climb down to where I am. It has not let me down. I like the fact it will not turn on by mistake in my fishing backpack. it will only turn on if I pull it open.

Great product. Just open and walla
Used on the outside pocket of my ENO jungle hammock and it was handy, and extremely bright and I could see my way to get up and safely make my way through an island in the middle of the ocean t night. Great product. Just open and walla, let there be light, and there was.

Decent lantern with horrific battery life on rechargeable batteries
Pros:+ Compact for car camping+ Lightweight plastic, although seems durable+ Somewhat water resistant -- survived overnight rainfall while turned on and hanging from a tree+ Takes 3x standard AA batteriesCons:- Battery life is horrific using rechargeable AA batteries (Eneloop, Tenergy, etc.); fully recharged batteries would produce full brightness for about 15-20 minutes before a subdued glow (<15% of full brightness) for the next 6-8 hours- No way to control the brightness to conserve battery life; you can close the canister half way to "reduce" the light, but you're still running the lantern full blastI think I'll look around for some of the other lanterns that are more rugged (water resistant) and have adjustable brightness settings.

This thing is cheap, tough, and bright. You won't be disappointed. I dropped it down concrete stairs right after I got it and it barely had a scratch. I don't know how water resistant it is but I ran it under the shower to simulate rain and it didn't die, so that's a plus.

I wanted something that would give off a nice amount of light
I recently needed a lantern for a camping trip I was going on, I wanted something that would give off a nice amount of light, be easy to carry and hang, easy to store and last a long time on one set of batteries.I am back and overall I can tick all the boxes, before we left i threw in a half used set of batteries and when we came back the lantern was still working and giving off a fair bit of light. It does put out a nice amount of light, it will not blind anyone, but if you hang it in a tent everything will be well enough lit that you can see what you doing and read the instructions before you loose them. The lantern is easy enough to carry around and hanging it will work fine, it will however slide to one of the corners on the handle. When putting it on the floor it worked well and gave off light, and did not slide back into its protective cover. One little problem I did have was the on/off, to switch it on pull it out of its protective cover and push it back in it will switch off. This does allow you a certain amount of control on how much light you let out, open it a little and you get a small band of light, and then open it fully and you get the full of LEDs shining. The problem is if you pick it up by the handles the base is heavy enough that it will slide down partially and that is enough to switch it on, knock it over and it may open it slightly and switch on the lantern, so you may not realise this until the batteries are flat and you have to resort to falling over something. There is no lock or mechanism to prevent it switching on, unless you tape it closed or take out the batteries. For me this was not a big thing, however if I was going on a long hike this would definitely be something I would make a note of.if you wondering how well it is made, well mine seems to be fairly sturdy. The plastic seems solid and no part squeaked or moved out of place. I wonder how well the lantern will fair after a lot of use open and closing, I will have to wait till I have had the chance of extended use.

Pretty average
Purchased as an Amazon Addon so price was relatively low.I wasnt expecting too much considering the price point. On the whole the lantern is OK.A few niggles. The light although seemingly very bright does not disperse well. I used for camping and it was a bit dissapointing. The metal carrying clips can come off a bit too easily. On closing the light there is no locking point so movement can cause the lantern to turn on as the lid lifts a little. Similarly we had the lantern hanging from a loop in the tent. If you pushed the base up to turn the lantern off it would drop down and turn on again.I couldnt really assess the battery use as I often found the lantern had turned on at some point. In summary its OK but dont expect much.

Very bright
Really impressed with this little lamp it is VERY bright, the design is very clever it is light and easy to use. I don't think that it would survive a drop onto a hard surface and I am not going to try it for the purpose of this review but in normal use it is excellent. This would make a fantastic main light in a tent.

Just what I needed!
Feels a little flimsy but for what I need it for its perfect, bright enough for the small tent I'll be camping in and the open/close on off is a nice design! Bit smaller than expected but again perfect for camping with short space!
