quality item but not as pictured for m&p shield
the pictured item is not for thr m&p shield...mine looks like the attached picture. i'm not particularly upset that i didn't get what i expected, just stating facts. it also seems to be made from plastic, not kydex as expected. i reread the descripton and it makes no claim, but dfwholsters makes kydex stuff according to tyeir website. eh.it seems to be of high quality and holds the m&p shield mags well enough, but i can see it falling out if you hold it upside down and shake it crazily - which would never happen in real life. overall, great for the price!

Doesn’t fit the xds
This is the holster for the m&p shield. I previously purchased an m&p shield holster which worked for my shield but was a little loose for my XDS. So, I bought this XDS holster specifically for the xds. However, this is exactly identical to the m&p shield, which means the magazine fits a bit loose. If you read the Amazon questions on the ad for the shield holster, the seller says that the shield holster won’t work on the xds (which is correct) and you need to purchase the holster specifically for the xds. If you are. Using this for the xds, look elsewhere. This is the wrong holster.

Nice mag pouch!
Bought these to hold spare magazines for a Shield .45. They work very well holding the magazines securely while still allowing easy removal of magazine if needed. I have two and as long as you space them a inch or two apart they are very comfortable. If you have them touching, they can pinch.

Good Quality
Just received this, so I haven't had much of a chance to test it, but the standard 7 round and extended 9 round mags for my XDs 9mm fits great. Quality seems very good for the price compared to others. I will be ordering another (but double stack) for my XDm 9mm.

This is supposed to be an inside the waistband magazine pouch, good luck with that.
The 1st time I ordered this magazine pouch, after waiting 8 days and the tracking number showing “Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item“, I canceled my order. When I placed my order a 2nd time, I finally received it.This is supposed to be an inside the waistband magazine pouch, good luck with that. The only way I can wear this pouch, is between my pants and my belt. It works well for me it that position, but it certainly isn’t tuckable. However, if I wear my shirt outside of my pants, it works well enough for me. And, the magazine is held securely. Plus it’s fairly easy to draw. So, if you need a magazine pouch, that doesn’t require you to take your belt off to remove it, this will work. But, it’s extremely uncomfortable inside the waste band.

plastic stick out, poke a hole on under shirt in few hours
and my skin got big bloody blister, see picture.I ordered a reversible (L/R) as shown in Amazon description, but what I received instead, as seen in picture, is not reversible, a total different design.Design is okay and fit XDs mod2 mag nicely after minor adjustment, but the plastic work is rough and uncomfortable. screws also have edges. The clip is flawed, it flex and fall out already two times in a day. Also clip screw seems to loose itself which I can fix with loctite.Too bad I did not save the packaging for return.Maybe I got a bad one...Buyers aware.

Design flaw/based belt clip
This holster holds the magazine well and keeps it in place. However the clip is flawed, on both a dress belt and tactical belt the belt clip would flex and would come flying out of the inside of my pants (Carey IWB) it had fallen out a few times but noticed and audibly heard it hit the ground. Now that there is snow cover I have seemed to be missing a spare magazine full of ammo that ia probably laying in tow yard or a residential yard where I was picking up cars

Bought it because I liked the look and the slim style
Bought it because I liked the look and the slim style. I was surprised when I got it and it was metal, I thought it was polymer when I ordered it, fights the mag great and its very comfortable to wear. I bought mine for an M&P Shield 9mm and its a perfect fit.
