Biking adventure for everyone
We LOVE our Wehoo. My wife and I recently upgraded our own bikes as our passion for becoming more active has grown, and we found ourselves heading out more and more. Prior to the Weehoo, we had an inherited 'tent' style cart that I would tow behind my bike, but recently, our 3-year-old son was getting board on our outings. The bike shop we worked with for our new bikes told us about the Weehoo, we looked it up, showed our son the videos of other kids his age riding it, and he immediately asked for one. Just a few days later, I was putting it together on our family room floor. The iGo came securely packed in a branded brown box. Opening it up, I found all the main components wrapped and secured. They were easily unpacked. The instructions were easy to follow, done in three main sections and broken up into several pictures showing how to fit the pieces together.I was able to put everything together on my own, but there were a few moments that having an extra pair of hands would have been... handy. Make sure you have an allen wrench with several sizes to pick from as there are six main bolts that are used to put the seat together. You will also need a Phillips screwdriver to add on two other items - the rear reflector and the splash guard. The rear cargo tray snaps on, and the duffle attaches with velcro. The duffle itself has plenty of room for some snacks, tools or a few emergency items for the kiddo, or leave it empty if you are going shopping. The seat is easily adjusted since the tension bolt is held down with a hand-tightened mount. But, once you have it set for your child, you won't have to move it until they do some growing. The pedals are great. The have well constructed velcro straps for over the tops of the toes and an adjustable bungie 'loop' to go around the heal. This system works great to help keep the child's feet on the pedals while riding.Once all setup, the Weehoo is easy to attach and remove from your bike using the included mounting bracket. There were six seat-post 'pipes' to pick from, and you picked the one that fit the best, so you were likely to find one that worked for your bike. What I like the most about the construction of the Weehoo - after how solid it feels - is that the larger parts, the seat, and the hitch post, come off easily so I can stash them in the back of our car more effectively. So, how does it ride? For our Son - Its AWESOME! He loves it. He never asked to go riding before, now he asks almost every day. He loves that he can help Dad pedal - and the best part about that for me, is when he does pedal, I can tell the difference. There are some hills in our area that would be an incredible challenge towing a 25 pound trailer and a 30 pound boy up, but when he is back there pedaling we cruise right up like there is almost nothing behind me.He has so much more fun than he ever did, and that makes our rides more enjoyable, longer and a better experience for the whole family. Plus it has helped his skills pedaling his tricycle. For me, there was not much adjustment in how I ride. Its a little slower to start, and stopping takes a bit longer, and you have to be ready for a weight shift, but over all - not much changed.I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to bring their kids along on their biking adventures.

Great design, imperfect execution.
WeeHoo is an American design manufactured in China. The basic concept is excellent: it provides a toddler who is not yet ready for a conventional bike a tandem bike experience. The recumbent style seat has a 3-point harness and the pedals have a velcro-elastic attachment, so your toddler can sit, pedal, or even nod off as she pleases. The geometry is well thought out, so that the bike handles well on road and off (mindful of the long overall wheelbase and wide turn radius). My grandchild loves the ride. After ordering the Venture on Amazon, I discovered that WeeHoo’s website allows direct ordering and better value. What’s not to like? The paint was generously and evenly applied; too generously, on my WeeHoo Venture. I had to chase out the threaded fittings with a tap to get the bolts in without breaking them or chewing up the heads. I had to sand off much of the paint on the square fitting connecting the mast to the chassis before they would fit together (or, more importantly, ever come apart again). Compared to the Burley trailer it replaced, the WeeHoo’s Chinese fit and finish does not justify the premium price. As other reviewers have noted, the instructions are shamefully bad. No written instructions (not even some rough translation from the Chinese), just cryptic pictorials.

Well made and our 5yo loves it.
Fantastic for making family bike rides fun. We got this when my 3yo was mastering a strider bike. The rack and panniers allowed us to let him ride for a while and when he needed a rest he would jump on the trailer and we could strap his bike to the back. He loved to feel that he was contributing with the occasional pedaling. As he got older, the experience he gained pedaling helped tremendously when we transitioned to a pedal bike. He jumped right on and started going immediately with no training wheels and minimal help in learning how to get moving. He still loves riding in it and it allows us to do long rides that he couldn't manage. The panniers are not of the highest quality but they function well and have been durable. The chain in the long chain guard is a little noisy. The trailer connection is solid and easy to attach. The seat adjustment is simple and allows a lot of growth. The seat has been comfortable for our kid and the side pouch and bottle holder are great features. Overall this is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Vendor included the WRONG instructions!!!!!
Assembly was a nightmare! ... like drunken IKEA shelving unit assembly scope-of-magnitude nightmare. It looks like the vendor included the instructions for the wrong model. The instructions that we received were for the less expensive model that did not have saddle bags. This means that there were basically no instructions for assembly of the read tire. The screws cross-threaded VERY easily, many junctions were extremely tight - requiring grease. We have't use it yet, but I am not confident with how structurally sound this is based on assembly.

Lot of fun. Allow serious training and Cyclo tourism.
Finally I can cycle with my 3 years old son safely. The Weehoo is long and you need to get use to it specially in the city when turning but not difficult to get use to it. The beauty is that I will be able to use this bike for years so it is a proper investment. The bags are a little disappointing as very soft and don't close very well. My son even fall asleep on it. I recommend it.
