Press and hold the program button on socket. Plug socket into power outlet while continuing to hold program button for 5 seconds until the indicator flashes. After stoping flashing, you can relink it. **Q: I have just bought a set of 5 sockets ,if i buy another set will they interfear with each other.** A: EASILY FIXED!! read on: Typically these are sold in packs - as sets of 3 or 5 sockets and a couple of remote controllers. The sockets are all built the same and can "learn" to respond to specific buttons on the remotes but the remotes are specifically hard-coded to transmit a certain set of usable codes ONLY with the remote buttons. The set of codes is denoted by the sticker on the back of both the remote and sockets. Problem is that if you buy two sets of these sockets/remotes and they have the same code sticker and you use the two sets of these packs in the same house or within proximity of each other then you will get lights switching on/off in other rooms when you probably don't want that. With a simple soldering iron and 5 minutes, you can make the remotes work completely independently from each other (or in matched pairs) and thus unable to mis-trigger the "other" set of sockets. Just open up the remote: 1)Remove battery 2)remove two screws and lift off back of housing 3)lift out the green circuit board Observe the black chip with some soldered bridges next to it. De-solder one of those bridges ( or add another - no matter as long as different from what it was). Make a note of what you did if you want to make your other remote work the same. These bridges set a hard-wired code which sets a group of transmittable codes. These codes can be re-learned by the sockets you want to respond to this newly configured transmitter. Reassemble and then re-pair the sockets you want to work with THAT transmitter by holding the button on the side of the socket and pressing one of the buttons on the newly configured remote. You will find that NO button on this new modified remote will activate the sockets that are still running on the other (unmodified) remote. You can copy the same hard-wired code choice to another remote if you ad a spare and wanted to use either remote for that group of sockets. Probably best to mark something like "group2" and "group2" on the back of your remote so you know which is which Great thing is you can migrate your sockets between the two groups any time just by re-learning the codes from a particular remote.
