Lanz of Salsbury Girls' Big Tyrolean Gown

These are wonderful soft cozy nightgowns for the winter. I was not sure how the sizing would run, so ordered a medium and a large. My granddaughter was a solid size 7/8 at the time, Christmas 2016. She's visiting this weekend (Oct. 2017) and still wearing the medium. I asked about the size large and she said she wears that one too. I think the main difference was in length. Nice quality. My adult daughter loves it so much, would also like to get one!

Soft and cute, although does have a funny smell as noted by another reviewer (giving as a gift, hopefully it will go away after washing). I put them out on a line outside and this helped reduce the smell without putting them in the washer. Don't be afraid of the polyester material, I think they use this because of the laws about flammable fabrics for kids' pajamas. It feels like wonderful soft flannel and you would hardly know it wasn't cotton. I think it will get even softer after washing.

My daughter loves this nightgown. It is so soft and cozy, and so pretty. It's the perfect weight for chilly nights. I think I'll need to order some more for her!

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter, for a play she was in. She loves it so much, she wears it all the time. It is so comfortable, well made, cozy, and cute.I may buy one for myself. It will keep you warm but is not heavy.

I cannot praise this nightgown enough! It fits my (almost 8yr old, purchased in a sz 8.) daughter perfectly. It is soft, warm, well-made, and exactly like my own 30+ yrs ago. The only possible negative was the smell upon arrival. It smelled heavily of petroleum products and required several washes to get rid of the odor. Even with the initial odor, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again.

I love these gowns for my girls! The sizing is generous - no need to size up - and the fabric is soft but sturdy. When my oldest outgrows her gowns, I'm easily able to put them away for her little sister and they are still in great condition. You can't go wrong with Lanz gowns.

the nightgown is too small. according to the size chart provided, it should have been a size bigger but was not. I'm very disappointed in the way the 3rd party provider and amazon responded to the misleading sizes listed on there chart.

My seven year old daughter was so happy to recieve this new nightgown and remarked that it was 'very soft,' my 12 year old daughter noticed it in her closet and tried to convince me that it would fit her too. All their Aunts have ooood and awwwd at the new nightgowns. The sleeves leave a little room for growing.
