These circulate small amounts of precooled or preheated water (less than a beaker full) through a lattice of fine soft silicon microtubes fitted into a soft cotton and fibre mattress topper, they regulate the surface temperature of your personal space with the benefit that you sleep comfortably all night long. Sleep well on even the hottest nights
We purchased the unit well before the hot weather set in. It does heat the bed as well but nowhere near as quickly as a good electric blanket.But in hot weather it’s brilliant. We have 2 units so we can set them to different temperatures to suit us both. The units themselves are slightly noisy but we were given extension tubes and we can now put the units outside of the room and on the landing. With door closed you can’t hardly hear them.So however hot it’s got we’ve been able to sleep really well. It is an expensive option but it’s very effective and we are so pleased we took the plunge.We should also mention the company selling them were really helpful and professional. We asked for extension tubing and they were sent really quickly.
