I loved reading it to my God children. They really enjoyed it.

When my kids were toddlers, there late uncle purchased this book, and would read it to them. Fast-forward 30 years my daughter now has a son. I wanted to pass the book down to him, but after I moved it got lost. I was so happy to be able to purchase this book for Ben, to carry on the special meaning .

This is by far the best childrens book ever written with beautiful pictures. I have bought many of them.

My now adult two granddaughters surprised me at a recent gathering by insisting that each one of them wanted The Lovables when I 'bequethed" stuff. When I found it online I ordered it right away so that I now have a copy for each one of them. I asked them why it was so memorable. They said it was using different voices of the different animals that made it so special. So, parents and grandparents, get your animal voices going and make loving memories!

This is an awesome book for helping young children develop self esteem. I have been a teacher for 30 years and I integrate it into my daily circle time (online too). We discuss healthy habits and caring for self and others.

This book is absolutely beautiful. I have bought it as baby kids for years. Great message and the art work is colorful.

This was suggested to me by an agent of an insurance firm as she quickly learned of my interest in children having a good view of self-worth and sharing it with others. In an age of bullying and competition that does not stop with a single matter, any material that gives this message in a way that youth will understand and find interesting this is a needed item. Love your child or grandchild? Worry about what others may induce to cause shadows in their outlook? Get a copy of The Lovables. You may have to do what I am doing: Put a "Return to:" with your name so they read and recall then give it back so it can keep on giving. Or: examine and buy more copies as gifts.

The lovables book was given to my daughter Samantha as an infant and quickly became my favorite book for a child. We read it to her often. When Maria came along we got her her own copy. I truly believe that every child should have this book or at least access to it and have it read to him/her often. It is an esteem builder letting the child know that they can be caring, kind, helpful, loving and wonderful just like the animals in the book. It is a colorful book that children will enjoy and is filled with beautiful pictures with a lot if animals.If you are looking for a quality book for a special child this is the one you should buy.

Its a really lovely book for children who need a good dose of self esteem, self worth and confidence building. Makes you feel loved, special and teaches good manners too. The pictures are beautiful. The book size is perfect.

Lovely book for me to use for my children's mindfulness class I teach in school.

Todo y que sea un libro para más grandes (4 años+ diría), lo compré a mi hija de 12 meses porque le encantan los animales y le atrae mucho el libro.En casa hablamos en inglés pero si no fuera el caso, habría palabras un poco complicadas.Es un libro con una historia preciosa. Las imágenes llaman mucho la atención. I love it, as a baby yoga teacher I love to finish the class with my wee babes and read a page or two. The words and meanings are just perfect as little mantras for children of all ages. If each of us grow up believing in the verses what a better world it would be. This wont be so but it is lovely to share these positive poems with the youngest of our generations. Be lovely if all primary schools had one in each class room and the children heard a few each day. I have brought at least 6 of these over the last years.Thank you Diane Loomans

It's a lovely book, but in our house, the parents liked it more than the kids (age 4 and 6). They did enjoy saying which animal represented each person in our home. I suspect they will come around to it.
