Fantastic Product - Great for a Wood Stock Shotgun
I bought this to raise the drop at comb of my O/U shotgun and it works great! The pad itself is really well made and fits snugly. The pad itself is neoprene - the top side is plush and very soft on your cheek, the underside is rubbery so it grips the stock well. I've not had a problem with it slipping on my stock, which is gloss polyurethane finished walnut and grips the rubber very well. It's well-enough made that I don't think it's going to wear out anytime soon, but I like it so much that I decided to buy a second one just so I have it on-hand in case this ever gets discontinued. Fantastic product.

Very functional. Might be better looking options.
This simple device works as advertised. It raises the comb height about 1/4", which can be just enough for a more natural eye/sight alignment for some people. In my case, I changed my Ruger 10/22's open sights to peep sights that were a little higher. This item raises my eye to the level of the peep sights nicely. The the texture is comfortable against the skin, and feels neither hot nor cold as air temps. change. It also provides a little padding... not an issue on my .22, but it might be nice on harder recoiling rifles and shotguns. The neoprene backing seems to keep the pad from slipping on my rubbery Hogue stock. Finally, it's very lightweight and doesn't change a gun's balance much.I'm docking one start because, like most cheek risers, it looks a little dorky. Also, I don't know how well it would stay in place on a hard-kicking gun with a slick stock.

Nice cheek pad.
Cheek rest works well for either right handed or left handed shooters. I put a piece of the rubber shelf liner under it and it stayed in place just fine on a wooden shotgun stock for 100 birds at sporting clays. After about 50 birds at sporting clays, it did slip a bit on a synthetic stock. The Velcro holds well and cleans easily. The stretch band could be about a half inch longer for larger stocks. Used on a few different shotgun stocks.PROS - Works for left or right handed shooters. Stays tight on the stock. Velcro wide enough to hold tightly. Additional support can be added by putting a piece of the rubber shelf liner under the cheek pad.CONS - Stretch band could be about a half inch longer for better adjustment on larger stocks.

Slides Around.
Trap shooting round is 25 shots. This starts OK but slides out of place during the round, every distracting. Don't use it much anymore. Did save my cheek from getting bruised.

Great pad that doesn't ruin your stock
Got a new shotgun and went out to the range for some skeet shooting. Found out pretty quickly that my face was going to suffer without some sort of cushion. Looked all around - I really did not want to have something permanently glued to my stock. Found this accu-riser for a nice price. It has worked wonders - no more sore cheeks after a shoot. I love how it is adjustable. If it is not quite where you want it, simply pull apart the velcro, adjust, and seconds later you are back to shooting. No need to worry about re-applying any glues. When the shoot is over, I just pull off the cushion, clean my gun and it still looks amazing. No residual stickiness or discoloration.I really love this product. A must for every clay target shooter.

Cheek plate combo
The cheek cover over the another 1/8" thick cheek pad installed very quickly and raised the height of the stock comb so that is was better to support my cheek. I wen to the range and the cheek plate combo stayed in place where as my old leather laced on cheek pad did not. The result was a closer shot grouping at the off hand position at 50 yards. I also shot from the bench and that tightened up the grouping more. With some more practice I really like the results.

Cheek Rest
The description provided would indicate that this item would fit any gun stock. I found this to be untrue as it was far to small and my stock is of what might be considered normal size. They would not allow return of this item saying the product was not defective. I would think it would benefit Amazon as well as their customers to require a complete description of every product. I changed my wording as the item was worthless to me. Going forward I will have to avoid those items that do not provide adequate description.

Not That Good
I tried it on my shot gun in multiple ways but it did not solve the problem of a sore jaw from a shot gun that face slaps. I had to make the proper adjustments to the shoulder pad to properly fit the shot gun recoil pad to my shoulder to stop the face slap. Check with a good gunsmith or do a search on line of instructions. Include a good recoil pad to mitigate the felt recoil and you want need cheek rest pad.
