My router gets a lot of use in my home shop. I make a lot of picture frames. Works great with my Bosch router and the aluminum Bosch router table. This considerably lowers dust compared to the stock fence port of my router table. I am also able to use this without the fence when I use my box jig. I am super happy with it and only have minor inconveniences with it.Cons: hoses can disconnect because they aren’t threaded. If I move my router table, or even from a random bump, the hose can come out. I’ll eventually tape the hoses in better.Cannot easily use my offset wrenches with this installed. Was super excited to finally get the offset wrenches and be able to change bits without removing my router.... wrench got stuck in the opening and was a solid 10 mins of frustration to get them out. I’m currently debating whether or not I should try cutting the silicone, or just not use the wrenches. I’ll give it another go and update accordingly.Those are the only 2 cons I’ve encountered, and the impressive performance has outweighed these two small cons. This was a simple drop in upgrade, I only had to remove the router plate to install. It prevents all the shavings from falling under the router itself. Great buy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Router Table Solution for Dust *by L***H on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2014* I installed this inside a BenchDog Contractor Router Table, using an Incra/Jessom Router Lift & a Milwaukee 5625 Router.Product was shipped quickly, packaged well, complete without issue - comes with low static hoses, connects to 2-1/2" shop vac (or to a 4" collection system with a reducer), the heart of the system lies in the silicone cup that mounts just below the router table base plate, debris from the cutter is picked up being split into the fence collection, and below to the cup.It comes with a clear plastic sheet with a hole cut in the center for bit clearance and marked with cross-hair lines to mount to the underside of the router table base plate and a velcro circle ring about a 1/4" wide around the cutout for mounting the vacuum cup - per the directions: you should drill your base plate and mount with the 4 provided screws, however, as I have a router lift with an aluminum plate, I didn't want to drill it. So I first tried attaching the cup directly to the Incra rings via the velcro provided, this worked however would require additional velcro mounted on every ring as you change sizes (and alignment every time), also when raising the the router for bit changes the ring would pop out - so I cut down the clear plastic sheet to center and fit around my router lift points underneath, then attached the sheet using heavy duty double sided tape from 3M. This mounting worked great for attaching the vacuum cup. In use I ended up with less than a spoonful of dust in the cabinet while routing MDF (normally would have been inches deep in dust). The challenge now was bit changes it is supposed to crush down- as others have noted, this product works better with an extension - . I used Router Technologies EX 2080 Xtreme Xtension Professional Router Bit/Collet Extension (awesome - see my review).So a little trial and error and customizing it works great - hey we're woodworkers we solve problems and improve on ideas, this is now an ideal setup for my Router Table dust collection. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great functional product! *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2016* This is an outstanding product. If you can use a Phillips screwdriver and a drill, you can install in about 20 minutes. I installed in a Kreg router table, with a Porter Cable 890 series router with absolutely no issues, and no permanent changes to the insert plate or table. You DO NOT need the bit extender with this install...the collet location and function is fine. The upper connector fits snugly in the Kreg fence, and there is even a hole predrilled in the Kreg table back support, where I used a cable tie to support the lower hose. This gets essentially ALL the dust! The Velcro attachment for the cup is fine...you could re-engineer it, but why?
