I would definitely expect it to work, but even more definitely can't guarantee that :-) **Q: will this work with the nest outdoor cam IQ?** A: The outdoor Nest IQ is powered through a USB-C plug but I wouldn’t mount the splitter outdoors. It doesn’t appear that the camera has an RJ45 plug — it’s only wireless?? **Q: What can adapter can I use to power this? Want to use it to power a helium hotspot but don’t want to fry it** A: You can use it to power your hotspot with PoE from your switch or an injector. This unit strips the power from the network cable. I run my hotspot and a small wifi router off of the power over ethernet using this little device.
