This simple and easy to use system will help keep your IMA battery in working condition. This system works by balancing the cells in the battery pack. This will keep higher MPG and have more assist power! Fix those troublesome IMA CEL lights. The system comes with everything needed to install (except some simple tools). The charger itself, vehicle-installed harness, IMA cooling fan connections, cable-ties and printed color instructions. Charger Main Features: Main IMA battery charging system provides a charge at a constant 270mA rate (+/-10%), Secondary power system provides 12V power for the IMA cooling fan, Volt meter (+/-2%), 3ft cable from grid charger with 4-pin connector, 6ft cable to be installed in car with 4-pin mating connector, US Power cable included (EU type F, UK type G available) 110-230V AC 50/60Hz input compatible The 6ft Vehicle Harness Features: Ring terminal for negative IMA battery connection, In-line fuse for protection, Allows charging and discharging, Piggyback spade for positive IMA battery connection, battery removal is not required for this type of connection (this is the hardest connection to make), Two splice connectors for easy IMA cooling fan installation. That's it. Simple. Printed color instructions are included. This product does not guarantee a repaired or improved battery. If you're battery is already toast, it may not help, most often it does though.

Easy install
Used this on my 2000 Honda Insight. Battery had developed a memory and would only discharge about 20% from full charge. It took a few discharge/charge cycles before the full charge voltage was back to normal. Discharging the battery is a little nerve wracking. I accidently went to low a couple of times because it is very hard too predict the discharge rate. The battery seems to be working fine though.

My Insight is alive again.
Works great, my insight battery is working like new again. Installation was very easy and instructions were clear. The wrong cable sent but seller quickly responded and sent the correct cable super fast. Good customer service.

Great charging system for Insight
Only marking off one star for pictures not completely matching. The lights were smaller and the mount was smaller. Other than that, the instructions gave a complete picture on how to install. If you're savy, you can install this in less than 30 minutes. Saved my gen 1 insight battery, worth every penny.

Amazing! Put life back into my battery!
Worked perfectly. Revived my battery. Now I am constantly at 90% battery power and that’s after discharge to 120, charge full with charger, then discharged to 100, then let it charge for about 16 hours. Fantastic! Super easy to install the wiring harness as well.

Worked Great!
Pretty easy install. Instruction were good. Immediately fixed my IMA light and check engine light. Car drives a lot better and IMA system works like brand new. Very pleased.

Works great!
Installed it on my 2002 insight I purchased with a non functioning IMA. To my surprise after just a 15 min test of the charge my battery started working! Car finished the charge itself over the next 50 miles and haven’t looked back! I plan on monitoring IMA battery with cycle charges at 6 month intervals.

Excellent product that works!
Excellent product. Fixed my battery right up. Easy to install. I had a question about charging and they returned an answer within an hour. Perfect!
