After playing around with antenna positioning to no avail, I purchased one of these, knowing we have a cell tower nearby. Issue was instantly fixed! For reference, I put if between the antenna and the amplifier (rather than b/w amp and TV — it seemed to make more sense to filter out junk before amplifying the signal). Haven’t the converse, but that would probably work too. Granted, this probably won’t be a miracle fix for everyone the way it was for me. We live right near a cell tower, but otherwise had great signal. If your interference is caused by airplanes, weather, long distance to tower, than this might not solve your problem (but, for the price, it might still be worth a shot). I connected it to TV, and connected coax. Took less than a minute. I could not believe the drastic improvement it made instantly! Every channel is now coming in super clear with zero interference.
