Roland TD-17KVX-S V-Drums Electronic Drum Set with Roland Drum Throne and 3 pairs of Zildjian trigger sticks

I've been a drummer for decades. This is my first electronic kit, but I've payed several over the years. I've been holding off purchasing as the feel was never close enough to an acoustic kit. Or I should say, the one ekit I played that was close to acoustic was $5K. I believe the TD-17KVX strikes the same balance of feel/sound at a more reasonable price. The "rubberness" feel of the cymbals is the most noticeable difference in feel, but isn't off-putting - just noticeable. The ease of recording in GarageBand is incredible. USB cable, install a driver, done. Full MIDI or audio track recording. Finally, the bundle from Front Row Electronics was excellent. The Roland throne is very nice. Kit arrived very timely and excellently packaged. My original shipment didn't include the 3-pack of drum sticks (also part of the bundle), but FRE very quickly rectified this and shipped them.I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

the kick drum is missing the set screw for the beater.

Great drums. bundle pricing is good. Note that only 1 not 3 pairs of sticks come with this. There is contradiction in descriptions on this page. Well boxed. Shipped quickly.
