A tasty treat for celiacs!
These linzer cookies are scrumptiously good. Celiacs take note! They are like shortbread cookies with gelatinized (or maybe I should say "stabilized" as in not runny) heart-shaped, fruit compote centers. Definitely 5 stars for yumminess. In all honesty though, I would be remiss not to mention that I eventually discovered that this product (that I bought on Amazon) was ridiculously over-priced. On Amazon, I spent $38 for two boxes of 6 cookies each. (That works out to $19 per box, or $3.16 per cookie.) At a check-out lane at a local TJMaxx store, I later discovered the exact same product for sale at $4 per box. What's more, the locally purchased cookies tasted fresher than the ones I bought on Amazon. As you can see, it pays to shop around.
