10"" Plated Steel Wok Ring

l used it on a wok. the first one that came in was bent . l'm not sure why the person packing the product found it necessary to bend it up so badly. must not have been a 4th grade graduate from school. the new replacement came in the same size box and it was perfectly safe.

I bought this to use my wok on my flat stove top. The wok was leaving a burn mark on burner due to such high cooking heat. The ring seems to generate enough heat needed in wok cooking. It does slide a little but is not difficult to move back in place. I’m not sure the ring was designed for flattop cooking but more for gas, but it works for me!

This is not only garbage, it is dangerous. On first usage the spray paint chrome color flaked off and got all over the stove, and then burned into the white enamel.There’s silver flecks everywhere and bubbling off the metal ring after first use.Considering that this device is intended for use in food preparation, we should be apalled.Imagine if that flaking chrome colored spray paint were to find its way into your food...?

It's okay, does the job minimally. The plating starts coming off with the first use, then comes rust. It's also way too light in weight, so it does not stay firmly in place over the burner under the weight of a 14-inch wok. I'm now shopping for something that stands up to heat better, and is heavier.

After about 3 uses a white powder formed all over the ring, and flaked off onto stove. Not sure what it is, but the ring now looks terrible. Will look for a better quality ring. What did I expect for $10.

I bought this to support a large (22-23 inch diameter) Discada plow disc cooker (aka cowboy wok). It's wide enough to be stable. Cleans easily. Seems sturdy and well made. I use it both for my indoor gas stove top and outdoor propane burner. Highly recommend.

Works well inside on our gas range. Makes the wok very easy to move around.
