Keen One Quinoa Thai Coconut Curry - Royal Organic Quinoa and Pineapple (Pack of 6 Cups)

I was searching for something simple and on the healthy side to bring with me to work, because I don’t cook. So simple to throw in your bag and heat up for lunch. The curry flavor is very tasty and one cup is pretty filling but you could add some shredded chicken breast to make it more so. Highly recommend!

I was very excited to get this "variety" pack. Unfortunately they only sent 3 of the 6 flavors. Since these can not be returned, I tried two. First the Thai Curry Coconut. The smell was incredibly off putting. Similar to a paper factory. The taste was similar. Tasted like shredded paper. Did not eat. The Chipotle was the same. - Perhaps something was off with the batches sent to me.

I have only so far tried the garden medley variety, but I like this one so well that I decided to leave a review early on. The flavor is amazing - very heavy on garlic which I like! The fact that these are organic is important to me as well as the fact that these cups are a very easy to prepare (just add boiling water) side dish or snack/meal by themselves. I will be ordering more of these.

Tasty and convenient for work-filling and easy to fix. The Jamaican Jerk flavour is outstanding, which is why I ordered a single flavour pack...imagine my disappointment when I received the variety pack instead, a day late nonetheless. Not happy. Too expensive to chance buying a mistake again. 5 Stars for the Jerk flavour, one star deducted for the wrong item being shipped (and now having to eat the Garden Medley flavour, which is as bland as cardboard).

I enjoy these Garden Medley quinoa cups. They are tasty and satisfying. I use them to help with quick lunches as I work from home. I usually add some more quinoa, but doing that causes the quinoa I add to not be completely cooked. You can either add water and microwave or you can add boiling water and let it sit a while. I like the goofy looking llama wearing a Peruvian style hat on the packages.

I'm a vegetarian and a big fan of quinoa. I make it at home all the time. I thought it would be convenient to have some instant cups in my office for a quick lunch. I've had quinoa cups from other vendors that were very good. The flavors listed here looked good to me, and the reviews were very positive.This just isn't very good. The flavors are plenty strong, but the quinoa and vegetables never seem to cook (and I've left them sitting in the cup for as much as 15 minutes; I've also tried adding more water than the package says). The spices also have a stale taste. I've forced my way through five of the six flavors so far but they all have the same problem. I thought maybe I had somehow gotten a package of expired goods but the "best by" date on the bottom says "17 APR 21". Maybe it means 1921, because that's how stale they taste.

I really like certain flavors of these cups ( i.e. pesto, Chipotle, Jamaican Jerk) so I have ordered just those flavors. But this is the second time I've ordered a specific flavor and received the mixed box. The top label is pesto but you can see underneath it is the variety pack.Otherwise I really like the product, I use boiling water and let the cup sit for 7-10 minutes with a plate over the top, I also put water up to about an inch from the top. It think it helps get everything rehydrated in a timely manner. The chickpeas and pasta are a little dry if I don't put in the extra water and wait.
