Good quality silk gloves
I wear silk glove liners under all my gloves, as most winter gloves make my hands itch and I need the silk to protect my skin. Also, a lot of gloves pull moisture from hands, so the silk also keeps my skin from drying. I especially like the Terramar silk glove liners because they have a nice cuff, unlike some others, to keep my winter gloves from touching my wrists and making them itch. I also wear them on days when winter gloves are too warm. Despite being thin silk, they provide some warmth and protect from the wind. I also used to wear them a lot inside when I worked in an office with frigid air conditioning in summer. I could type on my computer keyboard when wearing these. The size is good. I can wear a small easily, but sometimes the medium is on sale, so I buy a medium size. There is not a lot of difference in the sizes, and they have some stretchiness, so the size is flexible. I can use these with one of my touchscreens but not the other, so I would say it would depend on how sensitive your touchscreen is. I hand wash the gloves every now and again in the sink with a bit of shampoo, roll them in a towel to absorb moisture, and hang to dry.

Great liners, decent price
These fit under my suede shearling gloves. You don't want to compress fur and make LESS air layer, so this is perfect. The suede gloves are warm, but fingers always take more of a hit, so I decided when it hit single-digit temps to give this a try. I also have a pair of alpaca gloves, and these work nicely there, also. Alpaca weaves can let air pass through, so these liners make those gloves warmer on moderate days. I wear a woman's medium glove, and these fit perfectly. Not snug and just loose enough to have a little air between you and it.

Warm, light, and flexible
I got these to go inside a pair of Memphis Ninja Ice gloves to keep my hands warm but flexible while working outside on the coldest winter days. I was working for a commercial HVAC contractor, so I needed something that would allow me the greatest level of tactile sensation possible while still being warm, and that is a balance that is always hard to find. So far, I have been happy with these gloves. First, they are surprisingly warm. They are extremely thin, so it wouldn't seem like they would provide much insulation, but they do keep my hands warm even on their own in mildly cold weather. Second, the material fits tightly around my hand and has a somewhat slick outer surface, which makes it perfect for use inside a tight but flexible glove like my Ninja Ices. These are designed to be used as liners, and they easily slide inside another pair of gloves to add warmth without noticeably decreasing the flexibility or sensitivity of my fingers. Thirdly, these allow maximum finger sensitivity. I can pull my hands out of my outer gloves, still wearing these, and generally still have enough tactile sensation to pick up 1/4" hex screws and manipulate tools. This means less time with my hands completely uncovered and exposed to the brutal wind and cold of a Western New York winter. May hands may still get cold wearing these outside my other gloves, but these extend their functional time. One negative, but not unexpected, aspect of these gloves is that they are not very tough. I didn't have high expectations on this point considering how thin they are, so this has not been a surprise. The material of these gloves has potential to get runs in it like a pair of pantyhose, and though mine are still in pretty good shape, they do have little snags and pills from getting caught on sharp objects. If you are using them for hiking, like I assume most people are, this may be less of an issue, although it is still a potential problem. A sharp sticks and rocks could damage these almost as easily as sheet metal. In any case, these are inexpensive, so even if you only managed to get a month of use out of them before buying another pair, they would still be a decent value considering the warmth they provide. Just think of them as socks for your hands.

Lightweight and functional
I got these (and Terramar's sock liners) for a trip to NYC. I knew the gloves I already owned wouldn't be warm enough, but I didn't want to buy heavy gloves that I would never wear again. I bought these to wear under my gloves, and my fingers and hands never once got cold (as opposed to my mom, who didn't have glove liners, and whose hands got cold despite wearing warmer gloves than I was). They're very thin and lightweight; you don't really know you're even wearing them. But they did their job perfectly. Reminder: These are *not* gloves. They are meant to be worn under a pair of gloves. There is no touchscreen functionality. The liners alone will not keep your hands warm.

NOT true to size, Cheaply Made, Made No Difference to My Cold Hands.
I am honestly trying to find a positive point to make this a more fair two-star review, but I just can't do it. Well, I guess on the positive side it IS actually black like in the picture, but that's about all I got. I was immediately surprised by the material when I opened the package. I was expecting a tightly stitched silky material. Well. it was silky, but no tight stitching here at all. This stuff is basically garter hose, only actually thinner (I compared. A LOT thinner) and like the Grinch's heart is about two sizes too small. I have solid medium sized hands. Maybe, MAYBE medium/large hands, but these are more like super extra small even though they are clearly marked mediums. Trying to get them on my hands immediately split/ran them in multiple places, and the seems along the base of the thumb never came within an inch of meeting skin. You know how when you put on gloves that are too small and you kinda get webbed figners? multiply that to the third power and you get the idea. So sizing and material quality all get extreme negative marks, what about utility? Do they actually keep your hand a bit warmer like they're supposed to. The answer is a rather pathetic and emphatic no. I wore these by themselves in about forty degree weather and walked around for a while. They actually felt like they were wicking all the heat AWAY from my hands. Taking them off confirmed this. My hands actually felt immediately warmer than they did with the gloves on. I then tested them at the task I'd purchased them for: glove liners for my motorcycle gloves. I first rode around at about 50mph with them on inside my gauntlets in forty degree weather. Without liners that is right at the limit between slight discomfort and numb hands with my gauntlets. After a few minutes (11) I had to stop because my hands were getting too cold to safely operate the hand controls on the bike. I took off all the gloves and stuck my hands in my pockets, which had hot hand warmers, until my hands warmed up nice and toasty (warmer in fact than when I had initially put on the gloves and liners). I then tried again sans Terramar Thermasilk Glove Liners. Again traveling at 50mph at about forty degrees yielded about 11 minutes before I hade to pull over. So, not only are these gloves poorly made and badly sized, but they have been proven via scientific method (albeit limitedly so) to essentially do NOTHING that they are suppose to do. I would return these, but they were shipped from China, which I had not realized when I purchased them and does explain some things. I don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping internationally, so I will just eat the cost, which thankfully was not much. There, I guess that's one positive note. If you buy them, at least you'll only be wasting a few dollars.

Well-made but medium fits too small, and large is too big
Measured my hands and bought the correct size according to list chart - should have been squarely a medium. However, they were too small, unfortunately - I need them to make myself stop picking at my skin, and to be able to type so my hands aren't cold, and even though I tried them out for awhile they were too tight, I never got used to the way my fingers had to strain. Then I exchanged them for a large, and my hands are absolutely swimming in them. I tried to pull the cuff down to make the fingers tighter but it made the thumb too tight, then. I'm not going to pay a seamstress to have them altered, if that was even a viable option, which it may not be. So the second pair are going back also, unfortunately. Otherwise, they're super comfortable (or would be if they fit) - the material is nice, the wristband holds well without feeling too tight. The gloves did keep my fingers warm while I typed (I tried to make both pairs work hoping I could get used to either the tightness or the bagginess - but no dice). I'm really sad to have to return them because they're exactly what I was looking for otherwise - lightweight and would offer plenty of durability. If only I could get them in a size that fit :-(

Good for wear under medical gloves
I bought these for a little thermal insulation from the 60 degree C hot plate I work with. A single layer of medical gloves is not enough and my fingertips felt a little sensitive at the end of the day (slightly singed I believe). They fit well and don't affect my manual dexterity (important in my job). They also solve the problem of skin irritation caused by moisture trapped inside medical gloves when you wear them for hours.

Great fit and quality
Perfect. I tested them during three days of wet 'snow' (white stuff thrown from our skies) shoveling. I wore them below wool gloves. After hours of work in wet snow, it turned out that my jacket, sweater, underlayers, t-shirt and jeans were completely soaked and my gloves as well. However, I didn't feel cold at all while I was outside. Usually my fingers turn cold in the waterproof synthetic gloves but in these natural layers they just remained fully viable and happy to cooperate. Another plus compared to another pair of silk gloves I have, is that these here go further up to the wrist, which is for me a great plus esp. when I'm out working (and/or having fun). So far, they seem to be sturdy, no running fibers etc. Even after hand-washing them twice and not being considerate while working with them on.

Motorcycle Glove Liners
I bought these silk liners to wear in my motorcycle gloves. When motorcycle gloves are worn during warm and hot summers, they are difficult to put on or take off when your hands become sweaty. Glove liners have always made motorcycle gloves easier to wear. They also wick sweat and I have noticed that my motorcycle gloves never smell when I wear glove liners under them. My preference is for synthetic liners as they are much more durable but it can be a little more difficult to find ones that are thin and not bulky. Silk liners are thin but they are much more delicate and prone to pulls or runs in the fabric material. Make sure to keep these silk liners well away from any Velcro as it will catch and become damaged. I have already caught these silk liners in the Velcro of my motorcycle gloves even though I tried my best to be careful. I don't think they will last more than two seasons of motorcycling but they work well as liners. As these liners are thin, they do nothing to keep your hands warm when it gets cold. They are not really meant for that purpose anyway. I wear a size 9 glove and the large size of these fit perfectly. The quality appears to be good as well.
