How the slip lead works. The bottom cord lock prevents the leash from chocking the dog and the top cord lock prevents the lead from slipping off. The bottom cord lock will start to move on the cord with larger dogs when they start to pull hard and become a chock collar but it will quickly release when the dog stops pulling. You can take the bottom cord lock and move it towards the metal ring and make it a traditional slip lead.

Innovation + Quality + Price = Recommended Value
This is a conveniently compact and lightweight leash fitting easily in a pocket, bag or other stash location. It is also strong, attractive and of good quality construction. The use of cord locks for this purpose is innovative and useful. We have used it on both mid-sized dogs and ferrets. The addition of cord locks to this leash is particularly useful for escape artists like ferrets. Our ferrets have been unable to work themselves loose from this leash unlike others we have tried.Delivery was quick, the price was good and the cloth bag was a nice extra. Overall a very good value for less than $5 delivered. The only negative is that, though the burgundy is attractive, we would have preferred to be able to buy this product in black. If you found this review useful, please vote for it so that others may benefit from it as well. Thx.

Thin Paracord slip leash is just right
This is a really great leash for those who like this style of leash. I personally feel a slip leash is far superior to a hook and collar (as do most trainers, kennel workers, and people in the industry) so as far as the style goes it gets 5 stars for that alone. The implementation is dead on with the dual toggles, strong and durable metal crimps, and the durability of the leash, while still unproven at this early stage, would indicate it is very high based on the paracord material used.Note that WOSS has two kinds of slip leashes: One that is thin and very compact made from Paracord (which this one is) and another that is thicker and made of different material that is not Paracord. They both have strengths as I tend to carry this style in my back pocket all the time since my dog is in general with me most of the time, and the other thicker style feels a bit better in the hand and good when letting others walk or watch the dog.And just to be clear, I bought 4 of these leashes, 2 in each style and keep one in all my cars and one in my pocket always but wanted more so I went back and bought 2 more since the price is incredible! Highly recommend if you prefer and recognize the benefits to a slip leash.

GREAT PRODUCT
I HAVE ARTHRITIS IN MY HANDS THIS WORKS SO EASY. I DO HAVE A TOY DOG DON'T KNOW IF THIS WOULD WORK WELL ON A LARGER DOG.

slip leash
The leash is thin and therefore not comfortable to the human or the dog. I will opt for the thicker leash next time but it is slightly more expensive.
