Perfect
Great system for traveling with my fishing rods. I installed the straps in my 2017 Jeep Renegade utilizing the hand grips. The straps were easy to adjust during installation. Once adjusted all you have to do to use is release the sturdy clips. The velcro used for the rod loops have just the right amount of grip to hold the rods tightly but easy to release. The grey straps matched the interior roof color perfectly. The straps held my 9’ 6” rods in two pieces and reels attached without sagging on my head. Looking forward to getting my storage space back so I can packed more gear on fishing trips. Highly recommended 🤩

velcro straps are to hard to open and then close around poles.
I put this holder up in my Jeep Cherokee, using the handles above each door. Then tried to open the Velcro to put around the pole. At that angle and havin to reach over the gear, the Velcro just would not let go of it self. Being first thing in the morning it was still a little dark, and the black Velcro on the black head liner of the Jeep , see it was not possible . After fighting it for a bit, wasting time I should be on the water, I just hung the poles over the strap and called it good. The poles moved all around but did not fall down, I do not doing that again. All so the distance between the two straps is far enough apart for a five foot pole but a seven footer hanges out too far in the back and bounces around a lot. So over all I would not recommend this .

Beware
Did not come with the pieces you need to adjust the strap length. Yeah they are cheap enough to buy separate but why advertise it and then not include all the parts.

Pro tip: Use these for nordic skis
Way easier than a roof box or trunk. Slide your nordic skis in and off you go.

It fits well in the Cherokee I am able to put my poles in when I need to and roll it away when I don't. Great product.
