Mesh Caddy, Quick Dry Shower Tote Bag Hanging Toiletry and Bath Organizer with Suction Cup Clip Cord, Black, Rugged - Better Made in USA

I bought this bag to hold a small shaving mirror and shaving products so that I can shave in the shower at the gym. Despite the color (the bag is a bright yellow, but to be honest, does anyone care at the gym?), I found the bag to quickly be indispensable for a few reasons:1. The suction cup is strong; it will easily hold 1lb+ of material in a shower for 20+ minutes without the slightest give. I find glass is by far the most effective surface to stick it on, but most tile is okay too. The only downside is that you have to forcefully yank the suction cup off, but I'd prefer that over something that falls.2. The bag is a open mesh that is sturdy, is fine enough that pretty much no toiletry or personal accessory would fall out, but dries really quickly even after being drenched in water. When traveling, I use this as my toiletry accessory bag, and it works perfectly.3. The bag is pretty large. It will hold a reasonable sized mirror, along with a razor, a small bottle of shaving cream, a shaving brush, aftershave, a comb, etc. with plenty of space to spare. I paired it with Fog Free Shower/Travel Safety Mirror, which is interestingly almost exactly the size of the bag, and the pairing works great. You can hook the mirror on the suction cup, and you have an all-in-one personal toiletry kit for any bathroom.In fact, I've found the setup so useful that I use it not only at the gym and while traveling, but at the bathroom at my parents' and sometimes at my own apartment so that I can hang the mirror and shave in-shower instead of outside. I'm really happy with the purchase.

I purchased this item to replace one that I bought over 5 years ago. One that had a heavy duty black suction cup. This one comes with the flimsy clear suction cup. Do not buy this item. It is poor quality.

This product is extremely useful, the kind of useful that makes me want to own a few just in case the manufacturer ever goes under.I already own two (one was absconded by my kids), buying this third for a travel set. The suction cup is well made and strong, not one of those that loses suction in 3 seconds and tortures you. It does require a smooth flat surface to stick, some showers have a textured surface and it won't work, but for most showers it is perfect. Not just for shower, I often stick it to the tile wall as I am brushing teeth, shaving. After wetting the cup, it sticks the entire time during and after the shower. I have had the bag drop to the shower floor a few times, it is extremely rare and occurs perhaps once a month - quite a reasonable success rate. The mesh allows all of your toiletries to dry so no mold accumulates as can in other toiletries bags. I consider this product indispensable, and highly recommend it for those who shower at gyms, pool club, or in barracks/latrine trailers, etc. Note, it is a completely porous mesh bag, so if you are concerned that your shampoo could leak out during a flight and get all over your clothing, you should either have a different bag, or put this bag within a large ziploc bag. It is not waterproof and cannot serve that function. it also will not keep your toiletries dry. If you hang it near the spary of the shower, all will be wet, so you may not be happy throwing it into your gym bag. I personally don't hang it so close to the shower, but it still gets wet with some spray. It dries quickly.

I wish the material was more water proof. The suction is really strong but not enough to stay attached to the gym shower (which is tile). I still use it and the materials seem good but I will not buy again.

Love this bag. Its the perfect size for the gym to put your shampoo, razor, conditioner, body wash and whatever else you need. It dries really quickly and the mesh keeps it from getting smelly. Strong mesh material and strong zipper. Only issue is that the suction thingie isn't that strong so I put a clip on mine and just clip it to the shower bar at the gym.

Got my Dorm Caddy Shower Tote yesterday and used at the YMCA for the first time today. I must say I agree with all of the other superlative reviews! It appears to be well made with a sturdy YKK zipper that works well. I doubt it will rust because it looks to be plastic. The dimensions of the mesh bag are approximately 12" X 9" and, therefore, large enough for what you usually take to the shower. I found the suction cup attached to my tote to be quite strong, sticking nicely to tile, glass and metal, provided the surface is clean. As for complaints that the cup is difficult to remove, mine came loose easily provided the "nipple" on the back of the cup is pushed down to break the seal. My package arrived very quickly, as described and without damage. Also important to me is the fact that this product is made in the USA. All in all, I am quite pleased.

I had this tote for about a month before the end where the hole is for the hanging rope decided to rip. I kept basic things in it.. shampoo, conditioner, bodywash. It could not handle the weight I guess.. not very well made IMO.
