Love this popcorn maker! It is a really reliable one it’s very easy to use and to clean! Makes my movie theater room look really good and it’s the right size for my room! I would highly recommend this! Love the nostalgia Brand never disappoints!

This product was purchased for our teachers classroom. It’s been a fun addition. It works well and efficiently and very quickly and definitely worth the money as a teacher doesn’t help to have things that don’t work well as time is everything in the classroom. This product takes that worry away.

Ive been wanting a popcorn maker for awhile so I ended up choosing this one after some research. I also got it on sale which was awesome. It was pretty easy to set up & well the instructions weren’t so helpful but we figured it out. It was a bit small in height but that’s okay with me. It’s about the same height as my 6 year old.. it is fairly easy to clean and just letting the inside of the of the pot sit with warm water while I clean the inside of the of the popcorn machine (the pot is easily removable for easy cleaning). I also lay aluminum on the bottom of the popcorn machine to ensure that it’s an easier clean up. So far used it for 4 days straight and haven’t had any problems with it. Pops the perfect amount for myself I haven’t tried with multiple people. I also bought the popcorn salt & butter flavored coconut from Amazon. Combo 1: 1/2tsp of Popcorn Salt and 3tbsp of Butter Flavored Coconut Oil w/ 1 cup of kernels Combo 2: 1/2tsp of Popcorn Salt & 3tbsp of Orville Popping & Topping Buttery Popcorn Oil w/ 1 cup of kernels I preferred combo 2 it gave it the movie theater popcorn taste along with it being buttery. Combo 1 isn’t to bad but was struggling to find the buttery taste. Also the popcorn salt, a little goes a long way I believe the 1/2tsp is enough if you like it a bit more salty then maybe 1tsp. The popcorn maker also come with the kernel measuring cup along with the butter measuring cup and popcorn scooper.

I was a bit iffy about buying this after reading some of the reviews but my husband really wanted it so we went ahead and I have to say I am glad we did. It has been such a fun edition to movie nights. It was simple to learn and I love the little cabinet for the accessories. It is really cute and I love that it is a cart. Assembly was easy and quick and it really is very nostalgic. The popcorn is fantastic however that is more up to the user to make sure you're using the right stuff *preference* and the right amounts of each. It would be a cute gift idea for a wedding gift or housewarming gift. The only complaints I would have would be that full size items cannot fit in the cabinet and it is easy to jam if you're rushing when trying to set things up and get them going, cleaning can also be frustrating because of the "lip", but overall I would recommend.

This popcorn machine is so cute. It looks amazing in our break room. I do wish I would have purchased the one that is slightly larger. I don't feel this one holds/ makes enough popcorn. It has storage underneath, which is nice I can put everything underneath it. It works great. It does get messy. You have to clean it really well after each use. It pops great, but again not a lot of space. Get the bigger one.

TERRIBLE PURCHASE! This machine BROKE on the first attempt at using it despite following the instructions on volume of oil and popcorn. Half of the raw kernels get pushed out as the popcorn starts popping due to the popper being too small, resulting to a lot of kernels in the popcorn. Since the volume is small, each round of popcorn takes 10 minutes and only produces about 3 small popcorn bags so it is NOT useful for any more than 2-4 people (not a party). The gearing mechanism rotating the popper is FLIMSY and skips once the popcorn starts popping, jamming the popper and BURNING the popcorn. Once it jams you WILL burn yourself trying to remove the blazing hot popper from the unit to prevent it from scalding and smoking. Once you turn the fire alarm off and wrap your second degree hand burns, you will find the popper bowl blackened like a louisiana catfish. The popper is made out of a thin metal that is impossible to clean, leaving burnt material behind like a cheap pan. After the first use it was ready for the dumpster. If you do buy this, make sure to also add some burn care supplies to your Amazon cart… and maybe a fire extinguisher to be safe.

The 2.5 oz kettle produces perfectly popped corn with that authentic theater taste. The heating system works beautifully - hot oil and kernels create fresh, delicious popcorn in minutes. Capacity is generous, making up to 10 cups per batch which is perfect for family movie night. The cart has convenient storage areas for kernels, oil, and seasonings. The wheels make it easy to move between rooms. Build quality is solid with durable materials and smooth operation. The warming light keeps popcorn warm and fresh. Cleanup is straightforward with removable parts. I love the nostalgic design that combines aesthetics with functionality. The popping action is fun to watch through the clear panels. Makes much better popcorn than microwave bags with authentic flavor and texture. The kettle lid doubles as a measuring cup which is convenient. Perfect for parties, family gatherings, or regular movie nights. This has become a centerpiece in my entertainment area. Outstanding value for professional-quality popcorn maker. Highly recommend!

The unit was smaller than expected and is difficult to load the popcorn. Makes very little at a time. Looks cool, but not worth the hassle.

I’m giving this machine two stars because if you’ve never owned a proper kettle corn machine, you won’t be be able to compare quality and you may just think that this is how kettle corn is supposed to taste. Save your money and purchase a Klarstein or a Cooks Professional counter top kettle corn maker. I purchased both of these for my holiday properties. They’re half the price and far superior. I purchased the Nostalgia machine for my own home. What a disappointment. Let’s start with the design flaws of this machine. 1. There is only one switch which powers both the light and the kettle. Bad move, folks! Most machines have one switch specifically for the kettle and a second switch for the light which acts as a heat lamp and keeps your popped corn warm within the machine. It also looks great with the light on. 2. There aren’t any vents in the glass panels causing your popcorn to become steamed and stale if you don’t remove it all immediately. 3. As mentioned in other reviews the unpopped kernels fly out in masses. The spinner in the kettle does in fact get jammed so you are forced to turn the kettle off midway, reach in with a wooden spoon and attempt to carefully unjam it. You will have burned bits whether you like or not. How many depends on how much of a maverick you are. 4. Do your research and you’ll notice that most home kettle corn machines have a handle on the outside of the machine which allows you to tip the popped corn into the base. The Nostalgia machine has the handle on the inside. The machine is too small for this. 5. Yay! You’ll need to buy a converter/adapter. This machine comes with an American plug only. Add another £40 to the cost of this investment. Other machines include an adapter with a built-in converter and they are much less expensive. The Nostalgia is a nice looking decorative popcorn maker but I will be ordering a Klarstein again for my home. If I decide I really want a portable base for it, I’ll order that separately. It will still be half the price of what I paid for the Nostalgia machine. If anyone from Nostalgia reads this, make some adjustments and this product will be on par with the others. If I hadn’t used it already I would return it.
