I LIKE it - But moisture can get in, proving fatal to the unit
I was disappointed to tell you the truth. My sister has an automatic soap dispenser from Amazon and loves it. So do I. That's what I thought I was ordering when I ordered this. But it is not. Hers seems a little bigger; of better quality; heavier, etc. I'm thinking it may even be brushed nickel. I couldn't find any auto soap dispensers with a brushed nickel description when I was ordering, so I just hoped this was it. Well, it's not. It's not stainless steel, either. It's just silver in color sort of flimsy. But it does work. That's the main thing. It also has a little music jingle that plays each time you dispense soap from it. Don't really care for that! A little cheesy.UPDATE: 9-23-13 - Still working fine. I felt I had been a little harsh on my original review of this item. This is not the brushed nickel one of course, that my sister has. After I ordered this one, I found that one. The brushed nickel one is quite nice but is quite a bit pricier. This one is very nice, actually. It does the job and it is attractive. It is inexpensive. It has never failed me. It dispenses a good amount; just the right amount, of soap. I'm happy with it and am glad I chose this one.UPDATE: 10-28-13 - This dispenser quit working shortly after my last "update". It's not all the product's fault, however. I believe it got wet under the unit; something that happens on kitchen sinks frequently; a little water on the sink near the faucet. Am am presuming this proved to moisten the interior of the battery compartment of the unit, causing it to stop working. My opinion? Buy one that has a platform that stops the moisture from being able to absorb into the unit! Unless you want to dry the surface constantly!

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE! Bought 2
DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE! Bought 2, and they both worked for less than a week dispensing the proper amount of soap for a hand wash. The units have no Warranty, and no Customer Service contact information. In other words, if it quits, you have effectively been robbed! I would rate it NEGATIVE 5 stars if that was an option. Most disappointing purchase I have made in a long, long time! Amazon needs to vett their suppliers a lot better in my opinion. On the plus side, Amazon will refund your purchase price, but should not be representing such shady suppliers in the first place, in my opinion.

Great for the money, exactly what I was looking for.
This works surprisingly well for being one of the cheaper ones on the market. The sensor is quite accurate and does dispense less if you remove your hand earlier than the sequence ends. I haven't tried foaming, but this dispenser isn't supposed to be able to do it so I'd be careful. Otherwise, you just dump a bottle of any handsoap into the tank and it works fine. We use BABW soap, with the little blue things in it, and it works great. Will definitely buy again.-There is a chime, I hate it but the one I gifted it to loves it. You can turn it off, however.--Decent battery life

Battery powered liquid soap/ lotion dispenser.
Good product, great return policy ! One of the units I purchased quit working within the return policy time frame. I submitted my purchase info. and I was sent a free postage paid return label by email . I was issued a refund when UPS received the defective item for return.Wish bottom of item was waterproof though. If the company who manufactured this item made it waterproof it may last a much longer time.I try not getting my unit wet on the bottom by wapping a small piece of clear plastic wrap around the bottom 2 inches of dispenser and then use a rubber band around the plastic wrap to secure the wrap . Also turning the chime feature off helps save battery life. I would recommend seller and product

Not bad but I recommend the Touch-Free Liquid Motion Soap Dispenser
This product is pretty fair the only thing that I don't like about it is the fact that you can not control the amount of liquid soap that comes out of the dispenser. Other then that it is okay I am going to use this one in my kitchen because the counter is wide enough that I can place it over the sink so and the spout of the dispenser can drip the excess soap into the sink and not on my counter. Although I recommend this one here http://www.amazon.com/Touch-Free-Liquid-Motion-Soap-Dispenser/dp/B002CSRMMC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=U3B06ICBZXE6&coliid=I1JOROQ742DMKQI use to own this one before I brought the BAFX Soap Dispenser, I placed too much soap in the canister and it flooded the battery compartment and the sensor. Next time I wont make that mistake. But like I said I highly recommend the Touch-Free Liquid Motion Soap Dispenser. You be the judge yourself.

Cleanup
We've had this dispenser in use for a few months now and we're fine with it -- not over the moon, but not disgusted, either.Must say that my husband and I count an automatic soap dispenser among the essential small items that add convenience to everyday life. Whether working in the kitchen with food on our hands, in the garden or, as in my husband's case, on machinery in the shop, we love the ability to get soap without touching anything. The no-hands sensor on this unit has worked without a hitch, but the soap we've been using has become clogged, which is frustrating. Still, the clogging seems to occur with even the best units, so we find it hard to target this unit as non-functional.A toothpick inserted into the dispenser hole has helped clean smaller clogs, and the one time it got completely jammed -- after a period of disuse because we were out of town, I guess -- my husband took it apart, cleaned it and reassembled it. Worked fine. One note: We are using no-name liquid soap bought at Sam's Club, and, since I wonder whether a better brand might result in fewer clogs, I'm going to move up next time.We don't see that the unit chews through batteries, and the two of us use it fairly heavily (15-20 times per day). We've changed batteries once and, following another reviewer's advice, shut off the chimes. They're fun, but unless the grandchildren are here, we can do without.

Other than that very happy with them
Only problem with these is that you can't control amount of soap that comes out. Other than that very happy with them.

Nice product. Love it

Got 1 day out of it only
Worked for about 1 day. The plastic tip that joins the tube to the nozzle broke off with no external force. Was working fine day one then after about 8 uses soap stopped. When I opened top found it full of soap.
