Walking Cane and Flashlight - Opens in A Hurry - Self Balancing Walker with Bright Flashlight and Bending Joint - Telescopic

FIRST WEEK: Family and medical people thought I should use a cane. Reluctantly, I went online and chose this cane. I am surprised that it helped me walking. Due to a bad right leg, I have a hard time standing up. The cane helps me walk when the right leg has pain until it relaxes. It is a good addition with the light and emergency alarm which is loud enough to attract attention in an emergency. It collapses to use in caring situation. The problem, I notice, is that the lower part of the cane needs to be frequently tightened. Other than that, it is a good buy and is very helpful to me.SECOND WEEK: THE BATTERY CAP OPENED AND THE BATTERIES FELL OUT WHILE I WAS AT A FUNERAL. NEXT, THE CANE TIPPED OVER EARLY ONE MORNING AND THE FLASHLIGHT COVER BROKE OFF — MAKING THE FLASHLIGHT USELESS. I AM CHANGING THE RATING TO THREE STARS. THE CANE IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA. THE COMPANY NEEDS TO CORRECT THE FLASHLIGHT TO BE MORE DURABLE AND FIX THE LEG SO WILL STAYED TIGHTENED.

I carefully read the reviews before purchasing Miss King for my 88-year-old mother. As I said, there are no directions in the box. The batteries in the handle did not work. So be prepared to have three triple a batteries on hand. Carefully look in at the black handle in the light and you can see a small slit. Take a small knife or screwdriver and pop open the top of the handle. There you can insert new batteries. A few days, but it seems nice and sturdy and the light does illuminate quite well. It does not seem to have any problem standing up straight if you position it carefully. The swivel on the bottom is a nice feature.

This cane totally met my expectations. We bought the first one for my father in law who had begun to lose his balance. First he would not use a cane. Period. This cane is now his new best friend. He even named it Fred. Once in a hotel he had to get up at night and had dropped his flashlight. He rememberd the light on the cane and used that. He said it lit the whole room. We have since purchased a second one for my father who says it feels much more stable than his traditional cane. For the price, this is an excellent purchase.

This cane has been a lifesaver for me with it's balancing four suction feet on the bottom. I am a heavy 250# woman and the balance is perfect for me. I did have a problem with the foot falling off after only a couple months use and quickly used an epoxy to fix and is holding well. The lighted handle has been great for accessing the front of my house after dark with no porch light. I recommend to anyone needing that extra help.

Very loud and creaky, handle broke first day. Doesn't seem like a reliable product. I just needed it for a strained ankle tendon around the house - can't imagine being someone who relied on it all the time - indoors and outdoors. I wanted to make a trip to the store for an item or two, but was afraid it wouldn't hold up and people could hear me coming a mile away. The last thing you want with a cane is a lot of attention and the appearance that you're about to fall!

I bought this for my 80 year old grandfather. It broke after a week. He has several canes so he didn't tell me right away because it was a gift and he didn't want to make me feel bad. He told me today. I immediately accessed the order and realized it's to late to return it. Poor grandpa:(.

I wrote a review on this and im changing the score from 1 to 4. The flashlight works fine after i noticed the batteries were inserted backwards, it is very nice to have the light when i get up at night, im sorry i wrote a negative review on this product. buyers should be aware that the spring in the battery compartment is on the wrong side it is on the positve side, it should be taken out and placed in the positive side

The shaft and foot of this cane are fine, but the handle is 100% junk. Made from a brittle plastic, it feels cheap and it will break on you. It seems like it wants to stand up but it will just tip over and the light cover falls off, if not the batteries fly out. The light is pathetic. The safety features like the dull red LED and "siren" are a complete joke, about as funny as kicking a cripple. Don't buy this e-Waste.
