How long can one of these units run continously?

I have 4 on the walls of a martial arts studio. They run 24/7 I only turn them off about three times a year to remove dust buildup

Will this be good for pulling cold air from a central ac unit to fully push air up stairs

It would depend entirely, I think, on how tall your stairway is. When I first opened mine, I turned it on, number one, and got what I would say is close to "gale force wind" (only slight exaggeration 😀). I live in a travel trailer. Every day, from about 1700 to 2100, I sit outside at my picnic table. Today, I turned my fan on, with it sitting about 8' from me. It kept mosquitoes and gnats away. Just before retiring for the night, I replaced some things in my Tahoe. As I was walking back to the door of my trailer, approximately 20' from the fan, still outside, I could feel the wind from the fan. Still set on number one. So, I would say, yes, it should blow cooled air up your stairs. But, to bow it into multiple rooms afterwards, might be a bit iffy.

How do you clean this fan ?

i use my leaf blower to shoot air into the vents all around ..( do this outside )...giggle !..a about once a month is good ..it keeps it clean and from build up of household dust...and will let the fan live forever too ! i use mine everyday now for 6 years and still good !
