I hope they never stop making this brand and style. This is the second one I have purchased and they get a lot of use as a play pen/kennel for 2 chihuahuas. There is enough room for a good sized bed, food and water bowl and pee pads. If your dogs are escape artists, there is a zip on top to keep them from pulling the sides down and hopping out. The sides are stiff enough that it doesn’t easily collapse. The floor removes so you can take it out and power wash it. Good quality product.

I just rescued a kitten about 2-3 months old and wanted a safe secure place for him as he adjusts to his new environment. This not only keeps him safe but also keeps him from destroying our home (especially while away at work). This item is very roomy and his soft carry crate fits in it and a large litter box as well as many toys and scratcher's. This item also was extremely easy to set up and easily portable. My kitten "Coconut" has scaled the mesh with his claws and has not put a single tear or rip anywhere so I would also say that I am very very pleased with the durability. This can be toted outdoors as well so he can lounge with me while I enjoy the outdoors and my back yard with him safe by my side. I love the fact that he can safely get some fresh air. The main thing I love about this product is safety for my sweet furry baby :) I had a cat years ago that was indoor/outdoor and I actually saw a neighbor abusing him one day!!!! I felt horrified and naive and guilty! That cat had been coming home a bit beat up occasionally (he hated being indoors though)..and I'm sure it was a mix of cat fighting and what I saw that neighbor doing (yes I did let that guy have it-I am a female who works out to stay strong/fit/healthy and I told that fool off in front of all his guy friends! What a loser!! Anyway this product is a great solution and me and Coconut love it! I am really trying to get the word out about being responsible and keeping our pets safe! Coconut will never be allowed to free roam outside because the dangers range from getting hit by a car, violent acts of human cruelty, other dogs and cats hurting him etc etc the list goes on. When I rescued him I signed a contract to take care of him and love him and keep him safe. I also bought from Amazon a "ABO gear happy habitat" which is another sturdy portable mesh tent for safety, so needless to say my little Coconut is pretty set :)

Today, we lost our family cat but for the last 15 months this pen had been his home. Unfortunately, last year he lost the use of his back legs but was otherwise heathy so we got this pen and lined it with wood pellets. The pen was the perfect size for his cat house, feeding/watering station and a laying shelf. The pen was in use 24/7 for over a year and, except for a few stains, is still in perfect shape. That said, I doubt it would keep in a determined puppy with sharp puppy teeth but it's perfect for small docile animals.

This pet play pen has changed our lives! We used to let our two small dogs wander the downstairs at night while we slept. They would poo and pee every where every night! Luckily, we have tile - but still, the clean up every day was exhausting. We had tried training, everything! Finally when we got this, they didn't want to make a mess where they slept, so they held it through the night! We have a potty pad in there in case they have an emergency, which they sometimes use. But for the most part, this pen has potty trained them better than we ever could! It is big enough to let them have space and they really like it in there. When they get tired, around 9 pm, they will go in there on their own and sleep. All we have to do is zip it up when we go to bed. They feel safe and secure in there and of course, they have all their blankets, food and water along in there as well. What dog wouldn't want to be in there??? We love it, they love it and our house stays clean! Win Win Win!

Everything is great on this except for the velcro bottom. I thought it was a zippered bottom like the top mesh but it's crappy small velcro that doesn't close well. My foster kittens escape out of it all the time unless I put things in there to weigh down the bottom. It's very frustrating.

It's really big! I could fit in this thing with four other people in it! The problem with it is that if you don't fully cover the entire thing with the covers, puppies/cats/other bigger animals can just push the sides down and escape. I was painting my apartment thinking my corgi puppy was playing away when I head little claws on the bathroom tile beside me because he had bent the playpen over to escape. Otherwise it's a great tool for little pups and I'll be using it outside this summer for him, too!

I have two dogs a 20 pounds Pom pom and 15 pounds poddle, its big and I can fit two more dogs if I want. easy to use and to fold. you can wash it and clean it easly. you can take it to park with you if you want thats how easy and light it is. Though I only use it as their beds. My mom which is their grandma made them a nice big round mattress and small pillows all around it. They love to go in their beds and some times I go in their to play with them they kick me out and they get jealous.

Have two twelve year old Papillon dogs and just started full time RV'ing. This has been a really nice for the dogs; they weren't doing well before we purchased the pen, i.e. messing at night and when left alone during the day. Been using this for 5-6 weeks and only one mess, they also seem to like it. It's plenty big enough and well made. The only problem we had is figuring out how to fold it up every day, the directions are not quite detailed enough for this fold up operation. Once we got this part down, all is good, it folds up and stores nicely in the corner.
