The flour is First class!
It works in my breadmaker. Organic strong 100% whole meal bread is best for health and is additive free.

Good as ever
Been using this for years. As it comes from Ireland Brexit has meant only available via Amazon who don't stock any of their other varieties. A Brexit downside.

Not Bacheldre Mills flour ?
I am unhappy about this flour, it tastes good as bread, but is it what it was ? I notice that it is listed on Amazon as being manufactured by Matthews, so I don’t know if it is being milled at the Bacheldre Mill and from the same grain as before. I suppose the Scotts have sold. What I do know is I will not buy any more this way because £1.33 is an ungodly premium for postage and packing per 1.5 kilos. I suppose I’ll have to go back to the thoroughly unreliable Waitrose to get it !!To come back to this somewhat later, The most recent batch of this is awful tasteless stuff, just like Matthews wholemeal, in fact I think it is just that. This is not milled from the same wheat as Bacheldre mills used and does not deserve the price Matthews is charging for an inferior product.

The Best
It is more expensive than many other bread flours, but it does produce bread with a better texture and taste than its competitors.
