It is what it is. A well made blow up type life preserver. It is a little bulky around the right side of it and sometimes bothers my casting arm. It has both automatic and manual pull built into it. It says it is not make for a non-swimmer on the label so take that into account.Ok, here it is a couple of years later and a hard rain made it deploy. The kit to re-arm it is EIGHTY dollars!! The instructions say to test it every year and re-arm it every three years. For eighty bucks I can find a nice conventional vest.

This life vest is so comfortable to wear kayaking. I will never go back. Plus you will always wear it since it is not in the way. The only thing I wish it had was a couple of small pockets for lip balm and my phone.

Can't speak for the life saving ability, thank goodness, but have four on board. When I go boating solo, I wear one from the moment I leave the dock until I tie up. Compared to other styles, I forget I have it on.

The fit and mobility is great. I wear it all day and forget I have it on. As far as it working, fortunately I haven't been in a situation where I needed it.

This PFD is especially useful if you are required to wear a PFD at work like I do. I can wear it all day without it becoming uncomfortable.

Have not had to use it for it's intended purpose. Comfortable fit. Well respected brand. Not interested in compromising when it comes to safety equipment.

Almost invisible and light weight
