There's a lot to like. A remarkable value, especially at this price.
UPDATE: Bought another two-pack acoupla months ago. Was surprised to find one unit is micro-USB port for recharging, and the other is USB-C. Not a problem, just odd. And the five stars remain! PROS: - There are two in the box; a great value at $26.99. - Each comes with a rechargeable 3.7V 1200 mAh Li-Ion 18650 battery (the โprotectedโ kind - with button top). Again, a great value. - Can be recharged without removing the battery, using the included micro-USB cables. - Can also be powered by three AAAs, using the included adapter. - The threads of the aluminum housing and end cap which unscrews to remove the battery are well machined. - The aluminum housing feels substantial and has squarish, slightly raised bits at the switch and, on opposite side, at the micro-USB port; this prevents it from easily rolling off, say, a table. - The end cap incorporates a magnet strong enough to securely mount it on a vertical metal surface (see photo). - The pre-mounted pocket clip is secure yet simple to remove. - The push/pull of the lens forward and back to zoom between spot and flood is an easy, one-handed, thumb-and-index-finger operation. - Two light sources: out the end, and side-mounted chip-on-board (COB) worklight. - On/Off switch intuitively lights up green when in use, flashes red when charging, and goes static green when fully charged. - Pressing the On/Off switch once turns it On to Bright mode; repeat presses then cycle through the other three modes to Dim, COB, flashing SOS โ and then Off. - When On in any mode, pressing and holding the On/Off switch for little more than one second immediately turns the thing Off, eliminating the need to cycle all the way through other modes before ending at Off. Brilliant. NOT REALLY CONS, but things I wish were different: - The included 18650 batteries are only 1200 mAh โ about as low a current capacity as is made. I would prefer a higher capacity so that the battery can last longer before needing recharging. If/when these stop holding a charge, Iโll probably go with cost effective 2600 mAh or 3500 mAh batteries. - It seems the user manual was written in Chinese then poorly machine translated and not cleaned-up. A proper re-write would be helpful. - It boasts โ2,000 lumens brightness.โ I suspect that is not the case, but I question most flashlight lumen ratings out there. More useful would be to list candela rating. (The whole footcandles-lumens-candela-lux explanation is more than this review can handle.) However, my Streamlight Strion LED HL measure 615 lumens (the measurement of the total energy output from a source of light) and 12,000 candela (the measurement of how intense or focused a light output is). And it is far more powerful a light than these are. Nevertheless, these Hoxida flashlights are quite bright and are a great value.

Nice & sturdy, bright adjustable beam
UPDATE July 2023: Have been using the two flashlights regularly for 2+ years now. Leaving my original 5-star rating intact. Though, the rubber flap that protects the USB charging port on one of the flashlights broke off. A piece of tape now protects the port from dust and stuff, decent enough solution. Also, the battery on the most-used flashlight has dwindled a bit, not bad after 2 years of use and frequent recharging. I can get a replacement 18650 battery at the local hardware store for $10. Simple unscrew cap, remove, replace. Ding ding ding. One feature I especially appreciate is the adjustable beam / focus. Itโs simple single hand operation, so using just your thumb you can adjust from close-up floodlight to long-distance spotlight, like 100+ yards. Very useful on the occasions Iโve been out at night looking for my cat after the little devil managed to squirt out the door. Just the other day I thought, maybe itโs time for a new flashlight. I looked at high priced models $80 to $120 only to find that adjustable beam is not available! I realized this pair of flashlights does everything I want very nicely, with ideal size and weight. A sound purchase. ORIGINAL: I've been happy with these over 11 months of use while camping and for household / garage use. I use one of the pair just about every day. The beam is impressively bright and casts a surprisingly long distance. The distance adjustability is very easy and valuable. That clever light on the side has been useful for hands-free operation in a few cases. They've proven durable with no problems. I dropped them once or twice but no damage. Nice and sturdy, and an ideal size. Recharge is easy via the USB port, which is protected by a rubber flap that seems a little flimsy and prone to breakage, but it's been fine. In my garage, the magnet at the end lets me hang a flashlight up from a small piece of steel I put in place just for that purpose. The flashlight will power off with a long press of the power button... I didn't realize that for a few months; if it was in the sparse instructions I missed it. Otherwise you click through 4 times to turn it off. The long press is a handy feature to note if you decide to buy these.

Lasts 6 months with heavy use
As a pipe fitter/welder I use my flashlight 2-4 hours a day. They get dropped on concrete multiple times a day. They get warm from checking weld quality on hot metal. I go through flashlights every 6-12 months. So far Coast has been the only one to last more than a year, and still works as a back up after 5 years but dims after a few hours of use and my employer wouldn't like it if I went through 3aaa a day. After 6 months of heavy use, both of my flashlights are dead. They died about 2 weeks apart, flicker flicker, won't hold charge(the first one broke in half when it got chucked 10 feet and hit my tool box). Amazing light brand new, the clip worked great to attach to a grinding helmet. The magnet on the back was super strong and worked great when I was able to use it. Full light off with power button hold was great but the lantern and strobe served no purpose for me. Coast still wins in this regards as the only flashlight I've owned to offer on/off power. Battery life is 2-3 hours new, 1-2 hours at 6 months. Charge time seemed to be more than 4 hours with 2amp mini USB charger. The light is super bright and don't dim on this light. It goes from 100% to 0% then the power button flashes red when pushed. Flashes green again on full charge. I really liked these flashlights, but they lasted 6 months. I bought another Coast yesterday after using my back up Coast for a week.

Don't Bother - I Thought Others Were Complainers But They are Correct - Don't Bother
Yeah, the price is great, but so many things wrong. I was prepared for an OK item. I received it and put it aside until I needed it assuming all would be good. OK, so I guess I missed that aside from the purchase price I have to buy $20 batteries. When I saw the USB cable was included I assumed the batter(ies) were inside like all my other USB rechargeable personal and household items. Even before I realized I needed to buy battter(ies) I went to plug in the USB cable but the port is, appropriately, under a rubber stopper in a round section. That inner circle, where the port sits, comes so close to the edge of the port, it's nearly impossible to plug in the port. I tried about 15 times until the plastic rim finally yielded so I could plug the cable into the port. As soon as this simple task proved difficult, I pulled out the directions that are microscopic and NEVER mention batteries. NOTHING, What type, etc. I looked on line and the manufacturer / seller does not provide info. Instead, those who purchased this item give conflicting guidance on the type of batter(ies) needed. Is it one or two batteries??? I don't know because the microscopic directions don't indicate. I truly was excited for the flashlight because of it's size and brightness. Would be a great pro-active self defense tool. Given how unreliably the port is positioned and the lack of clarity, I have lost confidence that is a ight I can depend on. What a waste of time.

Great when it works
I bought one of these about a year ago, best LED I own. I bought another pair, put them on charger and the fully charged light came on immediately. Unplugged the thing, no light. Plugged back in for a while more. Light comes on when in the charger, doesnโt when not on charger. Sent them back, Amazon promptly sent another pair. Same deal, works on charger doesnโt work off charger. Almost as if a switch were wired backwards. So, not worth any more of my time, many more good lights about. Additional comment, months later. I set the lights aside because I was mad at them. Re-examined later. Unscrewed the battery compartment and saw that there was a void, empty space. I had had the notion that this item had an integrated battery. But, replaceable rechargeable battery, not present because of a bad day on the assembly line. I found out what battery was needed, bought a pair, all better. Item back up to five star, with a grumble.

It also survived my BBQ Smoker
I have purchased this flashlight two times before to give to my family. I have only purchased from the Hoxida store. I recently found out how tough this flashlight really is. I was smoking a brisket overnight. I use this light to light up the inside of the smoker when I am turning or adjusting or basting at night. I guess I did not notice that I left the light in the smoker. The magnet is great to attach to the metal wall. Well I closed the smoker up around 3AM and went to bed. I got up the next morning to check the brisket and opened the smoker up and there is the light in the smoker. The battery had long sinced died so I took the battery out and let the light cool down. Put in a new battery and woooah. It worked. It survived 6 hours in a 270 F smoker. Only problem seems to be the plastic lens and reflector melted. Everything else is good. It is still working to this day . Hoxida, can I get replacement parts to repair this light. This is one tough flashlight!!!

GREAT Customer Service
Order these lights for work. We have used similar lights in the past and the magnet and size are just awesome. Right out of the package we had some difficulty getting one of the batteries to charge. We swapped this battery between the light bases but could never get it to charge. I contacted the seller. Seller responded very quickly and offered to send a full replacement light at no charge. We however were able to throw this battery into an old light of similar make and it started charging. All three are working great now, so we no longer need a replacement. Wanted to be sure to leave a great review for Jamie! 10/10 customer service. Nice to know there's good people out there! Cheers.

Good solid torch, but is not waterproof as advertised.
Very good sturdy solid torch. Easy to Charge and very good light. Very disappointed with them not being waterproof. Had one clipped to the outside of the tent, pointing downwards. It rained, not very heavily but water built up inside the movable/extendable head piece until it filled up to reach the internal battery and shorted. The torch no longer works

Were Working both. The original battery is poor capacity.
Received both, enjoyed, until first drop. One is already broken, after 2 weeks using, first drop separated the side light cover. Second drop destroyed some interconnection of main light diod, so it starts overheating and got unsoldered one wires. With good quality batteries may work full work day. Will try not to drop the second one ) Second overmelted the main light diod also :-( Really dissapointed with overall quality.

Best
Love this flashlight. Never have to worry that it hasnโt been used in a long time, battery died. Easy to charge, holds the charge even with extended use. Very durable and easy to handle. I bought two!
