Trick Pro 1-V Bass Drum Beater

This beater is something you will either love or hate. I absolutely love it. I have them on my Roland TD-50X and on my Yamaha acoustic kit. The feel and response is amazing. It is so light that it makes single foot triplets really easy. If you like the beater's mass to be part of your kick pedal feel, you will hate it. This pedal removes the inertial force of the beater so the response to your foot is all from the pedal setup and spring tension. It is pretty pricey for a beater, but it is titanium and that is a bit more expensive than pot metal and plastic. I'm pretty sure it will outlive me.

Love this beater. Very lightweight and fast. I use this with my speed cobra pedal. I definitely recommend!

I got this today and have used it for 30 minutes! HANDS DOWN the best beater I have ever tried in my whole life! Put it on a DW MFG MDD pedal, it feels MUCH BETTER than the DW Control Beater. I am stoked! Totally worth the $40.

Easy to install to my Gibraltar pedal and easy to adjust to the bass drum head. The only thing this beater needs is 2 weights instead of 1...it is to lite with 1 weight. Which causes the feel and punch of the pedal to change dramatically.

I'm using mine with a Yamaha direct drive pedal. This is my favorite beater. It's very light, yet it hits hard.

Works great and sounds great!
