I really needed this for my animation, and I'm very glad I came across this light pad because most of the light pad cost more, and doesn't even have magnetic feature. This LED light pad doesn't have those small dots led light, and the full white screen/surface part are magnet. The light pad I got came with two small magnets(it is pretty strong), and micro USB cable, I didn't see user manual but that is fine. Also, the best part is that i got a surprise card(which if i contact the seller i get a LED night travel charger with night light and iphone data line) which btw I contacted them. I will update and provide information/picture about the LED night travel charger with night light when I received it. Overall, I'm really happy with this product, and if something happens in future I will update on it.Update: I got the(gift) LED night travel charger, Im very happy with the customer service and the products! Thank you.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this for doing diamond art work. It helps tremendously! The piece I’m working on has 38 symbols & 25276 dots, so this helps me greatly!

UPDATE:The seller contacted trying to offer and replacement or a refund, which is noble, but I usually don't reply to this kind of e-mail from sellers because I dislike that Amazon offers our e-mails to sellers, which creates a break of privacy. She sent an e-mail saying she was frustrated with me for not replying, which was pretty innapropriate but I decided to hear her plea..... That said, I am actually updating the review from 2 to 3 stars, but the reason I am adding a star is that the product does work as a lightbox and it's not a bad product for its price, so the 2-star review was a little too low. It's mostly the magnetic feature that doesn't meet my expectations. For the seller's sake, I will reconsider a replacement to see if my product was defective.OLD REVIEW:I gotta say, I am a little disappointed with this product. I decided to purchase this because of the magnetic surface.The magnet pins themselves are pretty strong, but the surface must not have enough metal, because the magnets barely apply any pressure on the paper, so your paper will move when you work on it, as the magnets can't hold your paper down in place. I kind of had high expectations of the magnetic feature, but unfortunately, it's doesn't serve the purpose...The construction quality seems pretty cheap, I can see on the edges that it looks low quality, it can even see the glue on the edges? The surface is a rough material, it just feels cheap overall.It doesn't have anti-slippery feet to stop it from sliding on your desk.The light is pretty strong on the high setting, and I like it, but keep in mind that it is not step-less. You have to cycle through all the 4 settings: low, medium, high, and off to get to any specific setting. Not too big of a deal, compared to the step-less it can actually be faster to get to the setting you want.Still wondering if it's worth to keep this or to return and try something else. With a 3 year warranty (if the seller can survive that long with this product), I wonder if it's worth keeping or trying a different brand.

Works very well.This tracer board is really nice. It fits 8.5" x 11" paper perfectly.The magnets do help a bit to keep things lined up, but they could stand to be a bit stronger.The three brightness levels are nice for different thicknesses of paper.So far, I have used it with 20lb and 24lb paper on the low and medium brightness without issues. I tried the brightest setting for a while with the 24lb and it was very bright; almost too bright for 24lb.I even tried some 110lb card stock and and it was plenty good enough on the medium brightness and even better on the highest brightness.Just for giggles, I even took a line drawing on 24lb paper and put three sheets of 110lb card stock on top and it still showed through plenty good enough to trace on the highest brightness.The only thing to watch is that it does start to get a little warm on the high brightness after a while; so give it a rest and turn it off every so often.

This board came a bit warped and it seems like it may just be the way the board is rather than being damaged, but I may be wrong. That said, when setting this to the highest setting, the board made an electrical buzzing sound and then shuts itself off, so, I think I received a defective one. Make sure you buy it from Prime if you decide to get it so you can return it if you get a defective one--I guess that's true of anything. When having a piece of Canson's Mixed Media paper on it with a dark pencil drawing, and a piece of Canson's Mixed Media paper over the top to trace my drawing to ink it, I couldn't see the drawing well enough on the medium setting. The highest was ok, but it wouldn't stay on. The magnets are pretty good and nice and strong and are a very nice extra, though I would have liked them to be a little stronger for holding two pages of drawing paper. I also would have liked 4 of them. In the end, I've decided I'll just buy a more expensive one. Also, note that it doesn't come with a plug...just a USB cable. And if you need a light board that sits completely flat on the table, then this may not be the one you want. Otherwise, this should work for non-professional or student use. I just don't know how long it might last, but at this price point, I guess that's to be expected. Oh, and it's true, while you are tracing, if your hand even lightly touches the button, the light setting changes, so that can get a little annoying to be careful not to.

Perfect for weeding my htv. Great light. I find it works best if your room is slightly dim so the light reflects extra brightly. My eyes are bad and I usually have difficulty weeding small details, but this light pad makes it easy no matter how small the detail is. It is light weight and thin and the size is perfect as well. I’ve seen others who were concerned with how touchy the brightness button is to accidentally turn off the pad. However, I just turn the pad so the button is at the top and weed away. Nothing interferes with the button from that angle. I definitely recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded.  The 3 settings of brightness are ample. Watch my video which I made while actually holding my phone so that’s how easy it is to use. The 2 magnets works great to hold the paper still while I trace. The paper I used in my video was regular copy paper not even tracing paper to show how well this light works. I could see all the details through the copy paper. I also used it with Rhodia paper over my calligraphy worksheets to practice. I will recommend this without a doubt .

I love this product. This is the second LED light box I've had. This product is very sturdy board yet light weight board that I am not afraid to throw into my backpack and carry it around. LED has three mode and seems to be much brighter than my old one. It comes with magnets and makes it handy for me to hold the paper in-place. Otherwise, i use a stronger clips if I need more precision. I like the ruler guide on the top and left side of the board that makes it handy for quick measurement.One friendly recommendation, I attach a USB power bank to power up the board. This makes it portable that I don't need to be around my laptop or desktop computer.

I bought this for my Mom for Christmas to do her quilting applique on, as she is getting older it's harder for her to see and this really helps.I already have owned this same one, that's why I bought one for her, as it's the best board out there.First off it is magnetic so you don't have to fuss with clips or tape as you do with other light boards, and this was a huge selling point for me.Also the 3 level of brightness is very important when doing crafts.I use mine for my Cricut vinyl, when I cut a piece to weed out the unwanted parts, it's very difficult to see the cuts depending the colour your cutting, especially if it's dark and shiny vinyl. This helps to see the cuts in the project.I highly recommend this board for all Cricut work, and is a much better value then the one Cricut sells for triple the price.

This light board works as described. I love the 3 levels of brightness. FYI...There is only one color tone and it plugs in with USB. I use a USB extension (NOT INCLUDED) so I have more cord length to move it around my work area. It is NOT cordless nor is it rechargeable, usb plug in only. I love it for weeding vinyl. I also prop it up against things to use as extra light when working on a project. As long as it lasts a decent amount of time, I would buy again.
