I have a vintage car from 1963 that back in 2004, I installed a "hidden" audio system to go along with my restored and original in-dash AM radio also from 1963. Unbeknownst to me, the antenna splitter that was installed before was the culprit....never worked...Static, no signal, nothing. Frustrating! So for the next 22 years I gave up on the expensive "hidden system." So..a few days ago, I went under the vintage dash and ripped out the old splitter and just connected the nidden system to the car's fender mounted antenna....IT WORKED PERFECTLY! That being said, I ordered this splitter to replace the obviously defective one (the old one looked iike the installer patched it together himself!) and in just a few minutes, connected it to the antenna from the hidden system, then to the fender mounted antenna and then into the in-dash radio. Moment of truth.....I turned on the ignition key, the then control module that runs the hidden system and to my amazement, I got a powerful am and fm signal that pulled in stations I had never heard before. OK....now I turned on my restored vintage am radio and VOILA....worked perfectly. SO....the point here is simple: This is a solid, well put together piece of audio equipment that does what is supposed to do. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others with a similar need. Well worth the few $$$ it cost.

Save your money or choose something better made, went to install and the wires pulled apart when I tried to pull it out of the insert.
