I'm a beginner sourdough baker and I wanted to try a proofing basket to give my bread that "artisan" look. This basket is clean and well-made and came with advertised removable linen liner. I wanted the lines on top of my bread so I used the basket without the liner. Followed the included basket prep instructions before first use and the dough did not stick. I noticed a lot of bakers suggest using rice flour in the basket, but I just used AP flour and had no problems. Looking forward to more baking using this basket.

Have been baking basic bread for years. Started to branch out into artisan type breads. Bought a bread cloche and this Banneton proofing basket. This basket works great and am having no problems with discharging the dough. I prepped the basked as per the directions and make sure that its well floured before and after putting the dough in to rise. See no need to clean it between uses. If you do it right, I see no need to use rice flour to prevent sticking.

I actually don’t often use my banneton baskets for bread-proofing. I like to use my larger one as a fruit basket, and a smaller one for serving homemade tortilla chips. However, they do work wonderfully well for Artisan breads. This basket is well-made and I think will last for many years.

Nice basket that works well and seems well constructed. There's no need to wash it after, just top up the flour each time. Leaves nice lines on the bread.

Not even usable. Basket has shards of splinters all over. Definitely made in China. Will be returning.

It's a good version of a staple kitchen tool.

Good size for proofing.

I bought so I can make one large loaf of sour dough, or two small loaves as give-ways.Great care instructions included. Would purchase again
