iPhone 8 Plus having trouble charging through port—I didn’t even realize my iphone 8plus could use a wireless charger until I took mine into shop to be repaired. Tech guy said it really wasn’t worth it. But he did show my I could change on wireless coaster. So bought this unit for wireless charging after I realized I couldn’t use my MagSafe I use for AirPods. (I admit clueless as to lot of technology.)Got it delivered overnight.Phone was a brick when I put it on but moving it on the charger I got the charging icon initially then it and the charger plate went dark. The charger plate info said it will do that so light doesn’t disturb at night. Once my phone had charged enough (3-4%) my screen came alive and I could see the charging icon in top right…I have no idea how long it will take to charge over 90% or how long battery will last. I suspect I should just buy new phone but if this works and I can boost charge during day w/o using a cable, I can eke it out for another year or so maybe. Hopefully this charger will work out.

The iPhone charger did not work for my 8PLUS phone. Looked like a good product.

This charger works great! The color on the side easily shows if the phone is in the right position. It charges my iPhone 13 all the way through! I have tried another wireless charger before and it would overheat my iPhone for some reason, but this one doesn't and it is just great. Really would recommend.

I have Iphone SE3 and it was increasingly problematic to insert the charging cable. Got this charger, problem solved. No searching for sweet spot, charges without removing case, perfect.

Okay… like everyone else I saw the hundreds of thousands reviews and figured it must be awesome. The charger looks cool and is pretty slim but in the end it did not charge all that fast. I tried with two different phones and even my mom tried and she said it was too slow. It was just not acceptable so we returned the unit. There are much faster units out there, but make sure they do not get too hot and kill the life of your phone battery. So don’t get caught up… there is a reason for a only a 4.4 rating.

Wow! The Qi -enabled charging is pretty magical. I actually didn’t know it existed until I upgraded my phone (iPhone 6s->iPhone 11...big jump 🙂)This works great for the newer phones that have the Qi charging capabilities. I didn’t know how great it would be since I seemed to always need my 6s plugged in even while browsing social media because my battery was just draining. Turns out these newer phones have much longer lasting batteries. If you are streaming music or movies you may need to charge more than just at night but either way this works great. It lets you know right away that charging is happening (I mean, who has had their phone plugged in for hours “charging” only to find it wasn’t pushed in all the way so never charged? Can’t be just me!). The light around the base turns green as soon as it recognizes a Qi-enables phone and just starts charging right away. If it’s not Qi-enabled the light will just blink as if searching but feeling like something is there.Just a note, if you have a pop socket, this won’t work through the thickness of the socket. If you use a magnetic phone holder where you put a metal disk between your phone and case, the Qi-charger also will not work. But otherwise this will work great for thicker otter box style cases as long as you don’t have add one like the pop socket or metal plate.There is an insert with the charger that says Qi-charging is slower than wired charging but if you use the included wall adapter the charging is at 10W (for Samsung) or 7.5W (for iPhone). Not sure what that means except it gets faster if you use the included wall adapter rather than just one of the million white iPhone blocks you have lying around the house.Overall, I’m very impressed. Fast enough charging for me and no worrying about worn and broken cords constantly needing to be replaced. Very pleased with my purchase.
