I punch and bind brochures with cardstock covers, and regular paper inserts. **Q: Will this machine only allow the maximum thickness it can punch to be inserted at a time, I am tired of counting pages each punch?** A: I just put what looks like 15 pages in to punch; I don't count. Generally, if I can't get the paper to go into the punching area, then I have too much. **Q: Residue from using it causes the holes to be mis-punched. Do you have a tool that can be used to clear the track for the next project?** A: Once a year I have a project punching 100 books of 200 pages each and had no problem at all. So I don't know about what you asked and neither the tool for it.
