Leelbox Digital Converter Box for Analog TV 1080P ATSC Converters with Recording (Black)

Works good. Instructions are hard to follow.UPDATE. Lasted about a month. Then completely died.

When installing this stb to a digital indoor antenna the only writing on the box's display was "boot" just as its pictured. This does not go away after I entered the installation guide. The box did send a picture to my TV using HDMI, coaxial(very blurry picture) and component cables.I was able to complete the auto channel scan but no channels were detected.The instruction book under its troubleshooting section had no mention of what to do when you see "boot" on the display. I contacted Amazon and they shipped me a new box the next day. That box also did not work properly.

after reading many reviews of converters I ordered this box for my old analog tv that still has some life left in it. Surprisingly the box added with my amplified tv antenna picked up 22 channels that look really clear. The box was very simple to hook up and set up. I've read of people being confused with owners manuals and the setup process from other boxes, but for me this leel box was a breeze to hook up and get going without the use of a manual. One thing to note, the remote needs to be pointed straight at the box to work, but thats no biggy.In conclusion I'd recommend this to anyone trying to preserve the use of an analog tv.Will update in the future, but so far so good( :

The unit works as expected and has many more features than i needed at a very good price. The issue is how hard it is to get the unit programed using their instructions. It took over an hour to figure out what should have been done in a couple of minutes. I am tech friendly and this unit is not intuitive. I would buy again just frustrated that the start up of the unit is soooo difficult.

Bought this in Oct. 2019. Easy to install, remote easy to use for 2 months. Completely went dead one day! First, remote quit working, changed batteries and still didn't work so changed channel manually. The next day the box went out. No light, no power, nothing. Thought the value was good but, alas, it wasn't a good value! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! Get what you pay for, so don't pay for it! I understand why there is only one month return because the company must know that it will only last 2 months!

Lasted 6 months before it stopped working

Bought this for old tube tv I keep in garage. Old RCA converter box died and remote stopped working. Tried this one because of QAT tuner. I have local only service from Verizon and connect directly to main flat panel tvs in house without cable boxes. Wanted to try this based on description. It works! I ran the channel scan which takes quite a while to get thru all the bands (or whatever), but local channels come thru great. Longest part of setup was deleting the channels it added that aren’t really there. May be an easier way to set it up, but confirming that it can work on Verizon FIOS directly into this box. Only for local channels, though.

I purchased in Oct 2019 and the unit simply died today. I had no power surge or explanation. Tried to unplug, reset and reboot and nothing! I wrote to seller who said they would refund Half IF I paid overseas shipping...which means I probably lose money...I would have preferred that they replace the item or that it lasted! I have a stereo I bought in 1972 and it is still working over 45 years later so can't understand why this couldn't even last ONE.
