Thank you Katie, for pushing through all your own multiple challenges. I respect and admire you for all you have done for me, the artists in our society, and the creative world at large. Your book will always be a favorite in my personal library of inspirational and educational books on the arts.

I love the action steps in this book. The author draws on personal experience as well as experts to bring together some fantastic advice for anyone who is working on creative projects, whether for fun or profit.

Chock full of ideas on not only where to find time, space and money to do your art, but also addresses the top myths and mindsets that might get in the way. Well-written, insightful and for any creative who wants to get their work out into the world.

The book is an invaluable manual and a treasure trove packed full of resources, inspiring stories, and exercises to support you in your creative journey. Katie really busts through a lot of the mythology we have in Western culture about artists such as the starving artist and shows us how we can actually thrive as artists! We are given a new way of seeing creativity and she takes us through a step by step process that we can apply to our own projects or to wherever we are on our creative journey whether we want to make a living doing our art or just begin. Katie Curtin covers many areas from artist stereotypes to finding your vision and discovering your work style to the practicals of finding time, space and money for your art to clearing out the gremlins in the way of creating or getting it out in the world to the practicals of getting funding and promoting your work. The lay out is wonderful and easy to use and I am using it to support me in getting my book project out. I see that I will use this book and refer back to it again and again with other projects.
