The “herd” pictured includes Elephants, Gazelle, Rhinoceros and other native species. 48 African trading beads - there are four different styles of beads (12 each) included in this set. This "Original" Mancala game is more beautiful than the picture.You can use the original peices that are included or buy a bag of marbles. Either way, this is the funnest board game and very addicting. My next game purchased will be Chinese Checkers. Hopefully, I will be able to find it through this seller.

Beautiful version
Beautiful version of the game Mancala. Perfect gift for any fan, children or adult. I like that it folds over to save on space and stores the beads well, but the case is nice enough to leave out. it even comes with an extra bead, very helpful since we lost one under the couch the first time we played it.

My granddaughter is eight and learned to play Mancala at school. She asked if she could have her own game at home/ She loves the stones that come with this set. They are African and intersting and not alll the same.

Great Family Game
Even young players can play this game and there is enough strategy to keep adult math wizards challenged. Beautiful wood too!

Pretty neat, cannot hardly close it with beads in it though, but other than that It is perfect. Deeper holes than normal boards I believe, and I love the darker look and beads.
