Excellent spatula set. I love that each one is a single smooth strong piece. They are easy to clean and I don't worry about the handle eventually coming off. The shapes are really useful. The yellow one is assigned to my dog's canned food. He is very allergic and has special (read very expensive) prescription food. First, I was just concerned about cleaning the can for recycling as it doesn't rinse out well - but now I'm amazed at how much more food the spatula gets out. I feel like I'm saving money every day. Now I just have to make sure I don't leave it out (yellow lab, 'nuf said). He's eaten his share of spatulas,

I purchased these on a whim after discovering some unpleasant mildew on the handle that was covered by the spatula head. I was pleasantly surprised to discover these have steel inserts, so they have a nice weight to them. I didn't give 5 stars for durability or versatility yet as I have only just started using them. So far, I am pleased and the price was decent. They were delivered as expected using Amazon Prime.

These SILCHEF spatulas are so good I just bought a second set for a friend. When I bought the first set for myself, my goals were to have spatulas that could stand up to cooking in high heat situations, to be a one-piece tool (in order to avoid foods from sliding into the handle area), and to be strong. I owned spatulas from which I could remove the handle and thoroughly clean but that was not the answer. Those spatulas would become loose and the handle would slip out of the 'spoon.' Or, some spatulas would snap in half when attempting to stir stiff cookie dough. The SILCHEF spatulas were 100% the answer to my problem. I LOVE them. My first set still looks new after a year of daily use. I mean that - they still look brand new! My friend had admired mine so I surprised him with a set of his own. I know there are other silicone spatulas on the market. I thoroughly researched them all before buying the first set (this was after I bought another brand locally- it was inferior and I tossed it). I highly recommend SILCHEF spatulas for cooking, baking, or any stirring/scraping tasks.

I tend to bake a lot...baked goods two or three times a week. My old spatula was getting rough around the edges, so I started looking for something new. I bought the set of three and have been very happy with them. I included a ruler in the photo to show the size. They've been great for multiple batches of cookies, bars, cakes, etc.My only complaint was when I was mixing up one batch of cookies (monster cookies...solid, heavy dough cookies), the green spatula bent a bit. The dough was mixed up (peanut butter, oatmeal, etc), and I was stirring in the chocolate pieces by hand. And it just bent. I bent it back, and continued using a wood spoon.I have used it (and the other two) many, many times since then with no trouble at all. I believe it was just that extra-heavy dough, but it was worth mentioning.

I typically don't leave negative reviews. However, after using these spatulas for two months, I would not purchase them again. The ends are extremely floppy, and make it impossible to scrape bowls clean or scoop up batter. The core that runs through the handle does not extend through most of the spatula head. Even my husband (who does not cook often) commented on how ineffective they are.

These spatulas are one solid piece, with a stainless steel inner core to provide strength that gives solid scraping movement while eliminating the possibility of it snapping off. I rinse my hands a lot while preparing foods, and haven't had one problem with any of these slipping out of my hands. The 3 sizes and shapes are handy for various tasks in the kitchen.I would recommend this set to friends and family.

These spatulas are well made. The material is thick and should be durable. The downside to the thickness however is that the blade is stiffer than some other spatulas and thus the spatula doesn't scrape the inside wall of a jar as effectively as a less stiff blade. Also the blade of the smaller (yellow) spatula isn't as straight as some others. It has something of a "rockered" shape and therefore the length of blade contacted against the wall of a jar is a little less and thus doesn't capture as much material when scraping against the wall of some jars or other containers. Overall though I am pleased with the product. The spatulas work well for most applications and since they can be used against hot pans they are versatile.

My husband ordered a set of silicone spatulas NOT SILCHEF, I really used the scooped spatula. Less than two months, the acrylic handle broke while mixing a batch of potato salad. I asked my husband to find me a better set, the last set was under $5, I had hoped it would have last longer but for the price. Anyway, he calls me into the computer room, LOOK at these stainless steel core, I don't think you'll be breaking these up. I LOVE these, nice and heavy, soft to the touch, but NOT too heavy especially while mixing or folding egg whites or folding whipped cream. I also bought the three set silicone tongs, which by the way I also love. I don't know how I missed SILCHEF, the first time around, but they will be the first I will check out when I have to replace or buy other stuff for the kitchen. When the order came in, I didn't know but the commercial grade silicone baking pads/sheets came from this company. We have really used them for a few years and they still look new, so very pleased with everything we have bought from this company. I wish I could give more stars, I HIGHLY recommend!
