My favie for soup
I use these in a very easy chicken soup recipeTake one rotisserie chicken place in pot cover with water and bring to boil then cover and simmer for twenty or so minutes. While simmering chicken, dice up half (or whole if preferred) onion and two cloves (more if preferred) garlic add to separate pan. Then sauté and drained can of diced tomatoes and chopped fresh basil to pan and stir a few times till warmed and basil starts to cook. Take of heat. Pull chicken out of pot after simmering time has passed (don't dump water as this is now soup broth base). Take onion tomato mix and dump in the chicken water soup broth base and bring back to simmer. Pull all meat from chicken (careful as chicken will be quite hot) and stir pulled meat back to simmering pot. Now bring to boil add tortellini as soon as water is boiling stir and boil for the cooking time recommended on the box. When done remove from heat and garnish with parmesan cheese. Boom chicken tortellini soup. This soup is the only thing I have used these tortellini for so I can’t speak to how it stands on its own but I love this soup and anyone who has had it goes bananagrams for it

More Cheese than Sundried Tomato
This is a good quality pasta. It is has significantly more cheese than sundried tomato; so in that regard I was disappointed. The pasta quality itself though is quite good.

Dry. No matter how it was prepared, dry, course, lumpy, clumpy
Very dry, difficult to find that happy-place with this product.I grew up in a Greek restaurant, I know food.........this product have us problems. Maybe missing quality-control, storing issues? Not sure. There's far better products available for the money.

Dissapointingly expensive and dissapointing taste
This is probably the worst tortellini I have ever bought and eaten. The filling of this pasta does not fully cook unless you completely overcook the pasta shell. This seems to apply to all of the flavors of tortellini that I tried by La Piana pasta. So you can either have over cooked pasta with under cooked filling that crumbles in your mouth or completely soggy pasta with an enjoyable filling. Both options are dissatisfying in their own way. Then there is the taste. The sundried tomato filling tastes off. It reminds me of a all natural ant spray my dad used to use when I was a kid. Not something that you want to eat. So do your self a favor and buy Barilla Pasta instead, cheaper and tastes better.

Yummy!
La Piana pastas are excellent. I love them all. I usually serve them with simple olive oil.

Great Italian pasta
Amazing product, especially when served with a brown butter sauce.
