The gloves are nice but they only resist heat for a few seconds... just enough time to quickly grab something but not hold onto it!I thought I could use this glove to handle a small pyrex measuring cup heated to 295F, for pouring lollipops... no way.. 5 seconds tops...

Interesting product
Thanks Amazon for the quick delivery of my gloves. They are as advertised in that it is heat resistant; I have used them while grilling and honestly tested handling heated materials probably more than I would otherwise, and yet without any harm. My only concern is that being rubber like, my hands got moist. Interesting product.

This is a kitchen must have. If you're still using the old cloth mitts in the kitchen you are missing out. Once I bought my first silicone mitt I never looked back. These mitts are the easiest to clean. You basically just wash them off and voila, they are clean. Unlike that ratty old cloth mitten that looks old a dingy after a few washes. Actually these mitts will become your best friend in the kitchen because they are like a second pair of strong, heat resistant hands! No joke, you never feel the heat from pots and pans. How incredible is that. My only con with silicone mitts is that they are like one size fits all which can leave too much space at the opening if you have smaller hands. However, they still remain in tact, are flexible, have a great grip and don't slip. Also, no color options but that's ok for me cause red is my favorite color. Stop sleeping on these mitts and grab you a pair now, not later!!I received a discount in this purchase for my honest review. These mitts have been a kitchen life saver for me. These are replacing my old fabric pot holders!
I never knew how much I needed these gloves. They really come in handy! - They are really flexible - makes it easy to hold items - They do what they are supposed to - I did not get burned when using them to hold the pot to drain pasta! - The texture makes me feel my grip is secure - Nothing slid in my hands like it can with regular pot holders (of course you still need to make sure you have a good hold - it will not hold things on it's own!) - They are easy to clean - You don't have to send them through the washing machine like regular pot holders!They are a little wide for me, but I'm glad the finger portion is long. I have long fingers and nails and was still able move my hands around in the gloves without feeling like it would bend or break my nails.I purchased these at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review.
