Very nice plates and came very well wrapped, tho took a while. Exactly as described. Are one star less simply because for my needs, they don't exactly fit the bill. I need a lot of pill holders for pill taking time around the house - ceramic/china is preferred, but of course breaks. These are fairly high rimmed, so it's harder for my parents to grab for their pills and not have them slip back down into the plate. As soy/wasabi holders, they would likely work just fine. Only thing is that this pattern is kind of England-ish, versus when you have Japanese food and want your dishware to match the ambiance. Still, I am happy to have.My dad now loves these plates to take his meds, so have updated from 4 to 5 stars. Also, they go through the dishwasher beautifully.

(this review is from my wife, who bought these). These are delightful! They came well-packaged and undamaged. The gray rose pattern is so pretty! I use them for small snacks or desserts. They hold two or three cookies and I can rest them on top of my cup of tea to move from kitchen to living room. Excellent quality and sized just right for my needs.

I got these because my cat was not happy sticking her head in big, deep dishes. They are the perfect size for a serving of wet cat food or treats; also perfect size to hold a teaspoon or a used teabag, or a small amount of condiments.Re-ordered because my cat broke two and I broke one. Treat them gently. They are as lovely as they look in the photo.

I was really looking forward to getting these, the design looked lovely but the packaging did not provide any protection. When they arrived all of them were cracked and broken. Such a shame.
