I was originally one of them, but Soom demonstrated outstanding customer service where Amazon failed.When I was refused a replacement by Amazon for the leaked jars, I reached out to Soom directly. They immediately offered me a refund or replacement. Outstanding personal customer service. Even though the Amazon shipment had leaked, I took the chance and requested a replacement from Soom — I had simply heard too many good things about this tahini not to try it. In the blink of an eye it arrived, in pristine condition. Soom had asked for the lot # of the leaked product, so perhaps the challenge was with a particular lot.This tahini is amazingly creamy, pourable and delicious — just waiting to be made into hummus or any number of other delicacies in my recipe file. It was well worth the wait. Far, far better than anything I’ve ever bought in the grocery store for taste and consistency. Both jars arrived having leaked all over the place, including over the other items that were delivered in the box with it. Amazon — no refund??!! This single star is for Amazon’s policy and difficulty trying to get this resolved, not for what I understand to be an amazing product.

Nice and creamy with no mixing required.Also, it's delicious.My only issue is there's no pull tab on the plastic safety seal under the jars lid. Don't even bother attempting to pull it off by the miniscule amount of safety seal that's there along the jars rim as it will NOT release and only tear it up to the heat sealed jars rim. Simply slice or cut the center and THEN pull it off to remove it. Have a tissue or paper towel available to wipe up any drops AND your fingers.

I used this product to make hummus. It came out perfectly creamy. Highly recommend.

Excellent product. Great taste. Loved that it was not separated and a thick paste on the bottom with oil on top. So easy to pour out.

I know people buy this to make hummus which it's probably perfect for, haven't tried that yet. I wanted a peanut butter alternative but it's really oily and bland for that. good quality though.

I bought this based on a recommendation from a cookbook author I heard on a podcast, who was telling everyone that they should buy "good" tahini and they should pay attention to where the sesame seeds originated. Describing a good vs bad tahini, I recognized the bitter flavor from tahinis I've bought in the past and she identified as as the poor ones. Well, this is also a poor one. Very bitter. I found another brand, at substantially less cost, which is from Israel, doesn't separate much and has absolutely no bitterness. Save your money. This is NOT the one.
