Twilight Dog Waterproof Florescent Reflective Dog Safety Vest with Adjustable Strap, Medium

My dogs are black and make them wear these vests while walking when daylight savings time is over. The compliments I have gotten from people prove that they are reflective and work to make my dogs visible. I've had these vests for about 5 years now. There has been alot of wear and tear, but I got them sewed back together (mainly the velcro was coming apart). My dogs are rough on those vests! But, it took 4 years of wear and tear for it to happen. I double sewed the most used parts and so far, so good! I highly recommend these vests. They have definitely made others aware of dogs while walking and probably have saved their lives. (Pre-vest, they almost got hit several times, which is why I started looking for a reflective vest for them).

This vest is really reflective and brightly colored. So in that respect it is exactly what I wanted. I went with a medium for my dog, following the weight guidelines posted on the listing. Even though it gives the length of the vest, I did not measure my dog's back and wish that I had. 14" is not very long. I wish I had gotten a large, as it kind of looks like my dog is wearing some other dog's vest. It looks really small on her and stops about 3/4 of the way down her back. It won't help much for covering her from rain, but does great with making her more visible at night. Also, I wish it had a velcro slot at the top for dogs that wear harnesses. I will probably make my own. I have a 40lb pit mix.

Lightweight but good quality material, highly visible & reflective, with generous sizing. I purchased a Medium for my 26 lb (small but slightly plump) beagle and it covers her fully from base of neck to base of tail, with near full coverage of her sides. On her, it fits more like a coat than a vest. Could also double as a lightweight raincoat.The Velcro straps are generous, but that's far better than being too short, and can easily be modified if too long.It does not have a mid-back opening for a harness connection, but the generous sizing allows for access through the neck opening without discomfort or strain.

This is the answer!Our dog is chocolate in color with brown eyes. She is impossible to see in the dark even inside the house.I have tried several other options with lighting techniques that just didn't solve the problem.This jacket is perfect.Our dog is 30 lbs. Medium in size. I ordered a medium and it fits on the big side but I'd prefer it be big ratherthan too small.I plan on using it as a rain coat as well.This is very adjustable using the Velcro straps.I plan on buying a 2nd one to keep in the car. Now everyone can see her in the dark and that includes cars!

This vest almost glows it's so bright. I love that my black dog now shows up extremely well when I walk her at night. The bright yellow helps at dusk and the reflective parts pop when the headlights hit us. I feel better knowing she's safe at night on our walks. I only gave this a 4 star because of one thing -- the velcro works too well! I tried to remove the vest after her first wear by ripping off the belly velcro. The sound freaked out my dog so badly that I had to modify the strap. If the sound of velcro doesn't bother your dog, know that this thick strap will keep the vest on your dog.

Living in Southern CA it gets very hot during summer months so I take my dog out at night when it is much cooler. Many times when I walked her at night, I was worried about her safety because of the crazy drivers. I wished there was something that I could put on her so the drivers can see her in the dark. Then I came across this reflective dog vest that seemed to be everything I was looking for and more. Unfortunately when the vest arrived, it was too big on my dog so I decided to send it back and order one in a smaller size, however before I could order, the seller found out why I had sent it back. They right away sent me a smaller one at no cost to me. To my surprise the small vest arrived the next day and wow, it fitted my dog perfectly. She did not fight me when I put it on her which was a plus for me. I took her out in dark without any worries and I was amazed how well it reflected. I felt so much better knowing that I can now walk my dog at night without any worries. This vest also works as a raincoat so it will keep my dog dry in the rainy season. As an added bonus, the vest also comes with a reflective Velcro band for you.What more can I say except I love it.

Fits well on my Springer Spaniel. About 1/3 of his back is uncovered though. But that's how vests are suppose to be.I walk him in Alaska on early morning (in the dark) and the vest is has good reflection from car lights. It makes it easy for cars to see him. And it's also waterproof, so his chest area (covered by the vest) is always dry after we comeback from a walk in the rain.

Received yesterday, Oct. 1, 2015......So far these are great, just used this morning one time, love the reflective quality. Dogs wore them without any issue, does not restrict any movement. Early morning walks are much safer for my two charges. Nice fit, certainly does not protect the entire dog from rain, but protects the back and allows them to be seen by passing cars. They appear to have shipped in a timely manner but were not delivered within the two day prime shipping.
