I use these for decorating my hand-built clay pottery pieces before they are fired in the kiln. It works quite well. Even the smallest holes will pump out nice, skinny "spaghetti-strands" of clay. It's important to thoroughly wash out the tube each time but that isn't difficult with the use of a small-size bottle brush. Inexpensive and useful tool! The twisting style handle means you don't need muscle power to squeeze the clay out.

This tool is so easy to use! I wish I had bought this one right at the start of my clay and other things I use it for. Amazing but you have to follow the suggestion that "soft clay" be used in it. This tool took my art to another level. I mixed the dies as well to create new shapes, as long as the clay put pressure on it the double and triple dies worked~

arrived in a timely-enough manner. compared to the other extruder with a syringe type plunger, this has larger orifices in the dies, which seem to also be a bit more crudely done. all this is ok. the bad mark comes from the plunger's threaded rod is slightly bent. looks as though it is a tiny bit long and was over-tightened prior to packaging giving the threaded portion a bow and interfering when turning through the top of the cylinder's threads. for less than the $7 i paid i will fix/live with it.

Came missing several of the discs. Found 9 of them in the envelope, outside the packaging and only 5 in the package, so I'm missing 6! The packaging was held together by a single staple, but the products could easily fall out without any effort. Very disappointed.So I just played with it a little more and figured out IT'S BEEN USED!! I pulled it out of the package with what's in the picture. There is literally clay/frosting left all over it! And it's missing BOTH 'o' rings and the little box for the discs. I am absolutely disgusted with this product right now!

It's a wonderful item to have in the craft world. I'm just starting out in the cake world and was told to get one. I haven't use it yet but as soon as I do I'll write a review.

I love these when they actually work but unfortunately mine consistently keep breaking and I have to keep replacing them
