I returned this. First, there isn’t enough clearance for the tightening ring to attach the holder to the stand. I had to take it apart with tools, out the socket joint together, Then reassemble. But the lame thing is that stand won’t tilt the screen back more than maybe 5 degrees. So this is only useful if you want your tablet held Vertical. Also, the tighteners on the tunes are cheaply made.

The tripod is great overall.it compacts down very easily for ease of transport. The locking mechanisms are easy to use and it makes the tripod easy to adjust to different heights and directions. The plastic part that stretches to clamp on the edges of the iPad are very tight and secure. The connection from the clamp portion to the actual tripod is by 4 small teeth that slide and lock into place. This part is fairly unstable and any touching or bumping of the tripod causes the iPad and clamp to disconnect from the tripod.. I’ve had the tripod for 3 months and use it at least twice a week and it has fallen twice. I’ve been very careful to not bump it so that it doesn’t disconnect. Other than that, I love it and it has been a great product.

Would actually give this a four star but I just love it so much. It is really a perfect piece of equipment for the iPad with the only exception that it does not has away to keep it straight up it needs on more nozzle or some kind of attachment so that it holds it up in place instead of dropping down. It would be completely perfect if it could go all the way flat on top so you. Told draw and write on it but am giving it 5 stars anyway just for the fact that someone actually created this!

I was looking for something easy to set up for an at home photo booth and this was just the thing! We just used an old iPad and the self timer and this thing was a hit! I would definitely recommend if you're looking for something easy to set up and sturdy enough for inebriated adults to use. However, I don't think this is balanced enough to be used by children, but it was certainly easy to set up and adjust the height. I was using the 10.5 in iPad, any larger I'm not use the stand could support.

Fine if you want to look head on to the ipad, but if you want to look down on it for say music or standing for controlling something like a MEVO or an audio system...the ball only allows a slight variation off straight up and down. If you want it be be more like flat (parallel to the ground) get a different unit.

I'm sure this stand would have worked fine, if all of the parts were there. It was missing the bracket for the tablet holder to attach to the stand. I sent it back and ordered a different brand. It would have also helped if this stand came with at least some instructions. It is easy enough to figure out, but simple instructions and a parts list would make it better.

Not sure where all the rave for this product is coming from. It's super flimsy. The head that attaches the iPad to the pole doesn't have any sort of locking feature and is super loose on the stand. Would not trust having this maxed out on its height with a hardwood floor. Also, the 12.9 inch 1st Gen iPad Pro will not fit on the diagonal orientation it's supposed to grip according to the instructions. It will, however grip it in a vertical fashion but it does not seem as secure.

Love the product, however the piece that fits into the stand that holds the tablet will not connect and stay in place. After ordering 3 of them and all having the same problem I gave up and used Gorilla glue on it to hold it. Poor planning. But, I love the portability, the height, and ease of use. This is about the 8th one I've ordered. People borrow it and break it so I keep having to reorder.
