I have given this as gifts to multiple people - from distance runners to yoga practitioners, and we all agree - this is one of the best tools in an arsenal for self body work. Whether i am rolling into my feet, my shins and calves, my neck on a block to counteract screen issues, across my back, my Hips and Butt area, even rolling out my forearms which retain a great detail of tension. it applies firmer pressure than tennis balls (the balls are solid rubber), but with the neoprine adding padding which allows your muscles a chance to relax into the pressure. that balance in pressure is hard to find. It travels well, i throw it my car and work on my back when driving. Lastly: This is a game changer for the IT band. Throwing myself into half pigeon, and draping my IT Band over it lengthwise, rocking back and forth , it loosens the area up like to other (which normally is too sensitive for me to foam roll). Do yourself a favor and put this into your life!!!!

I've been doing a boot camp for a while now, and I still get sore muscles after workouts. The trainer recommended getting a massage roller to work out the soreness and also increase flexibility and range of motion. After searching around and reading reviews, I decided to try The Original Worm. Foam Rollers are big and bulky (and sometimes awkward to use and uncomfortable), and I wanted something I could travel with and store out of sight at home.The Worm has been fantastic! The material it is made of is durable, and I expect it to last for a really long time without wearing out. I'm able to use it comfortably for my back as well as my legs, shoulders, and even feet! I like to stand with it between my back and the wall and then squat and allow it to roll up and down my back. It provides a wonderful massage as well as works out knots and soreness.I recently traveled with it, and it was a lifesaver on the airplane. I put it behind my lower back while seated, and it provided great lumbar support during the long flight. I've even started taking it to work to use for the same reason while sitting at my desk all day. I've only had it for a few weeks, but I can't say enough good things about it, and I am looking forward to discovering new ways to use it!

My massage therapist recommended this to roll out muscle knots. I was skeptical because I've used a large foam roller before and it was too hard to bear the pain. But the worm is 4 rubber balls that are firm enough to work the muscles, and soft enough that the pain isn't excruciating. The size of the balls and distance between them is perfect for getting on either side of your spine, or on either side of your quadriceps. I've been using it a couple times a week and it has helped my chronic back and hip pain. EXCELLENT!

Love this! I take it with me whenever I travel and use it in bed most nights. Perfect size for carrying with you when a roller is too big, and works just as well.

I think it's basically 4 tennis balls sewn in a high quality casing, with superb stitching on the seems. Everyone who can handle laying on balls to relax knots in muscles like your back, neck, hips, and thigh areas...this product is wonderful! I highly recommend it. It's easy to move around to different areas. Fantastic quality. Fairly simple to clean. I just wipe with a damp cloth with mild soap. It's my nightly bed companion.

Bought the more severe one to get deeper, and especially for travel. Loved it for upper spine area & glutes. Useless for lower back.

I’ve been a runner for only a few years, and find I’m prone to shin splints. I foam roll, ice, roll out my feet with a spiky ball - and nothing gets as specific and releases the shin and calf muscles like this. It hurts like hell to roll through - inflammation and specific work will do that - but I feel immediate relief after just a few minutes of rolling. This has helped me keep running and training. I take it with me everywhere! My husband uses it on occasion, when he can find it!

I randomly read an article that recommended this product. Came to Amazon to read some reviews on it and seemed like the love of my life would like this. (She works 72 hours a day and somehow fits in law school and preventing me from dying from stupidity.) Now, I didn't think this was gonna be a big deal. C'mon, it's just balls in a neoprene wrapping. Calm down.I've never been so wrong in my life. And I once thought about voting for Trump for one second.I ordered it and left it for her to check out when she got home. We waited a few days to finally check it out. Holy s***. This magical gift from God touched my girlfriend AND me in ways that we never knew existed. I've never had such a euphoric connection with the universe.I'm not sure how I was able to write this. Go buy this. Stop reading. Go.
