Just what what Needed!
I'm already very familiar with VB and AutoCad.; This is what I needed. Only 67 pages. Gives the basic background and plenty of examples, with code available for download.

Four Stars
Helpful book, much shorter than I expected. Not comprehensive by any means but definitely helpful.

surprisingly short and not comprehensive by any means. you ...
surprisingly short and not comprehensive by any means. you will find explanation of what certain code blocks do but no explanation about key objects in autocad .net api. if you really want to learn the logic you will end up reading the autocad documentation any way. so you might just start from the examples on the autodesk website as well and skip this book.

poor - use the resources on the ADN instead
Literally one of the worst books i have ever purchased. And yes, I have bought a copy. Why is it bad?Poor or next to no explanations for why something is being done. Does not explain methods, classes - doesn't explain anything! But I did explain" says the author. No. NO you did not. people buy books so that they can read in a simple, ABC, spoon fed manner. Otherwise they may as well read go straight to the ObjectARX and .net developer guides on Autocad. This isn't much better than the Lab training resources out there on the main ADN webpage.save yourself the trouble. go straight there......this "book" is more like a pamphlet that was hastily put together. and it's short too, in addition to being non-informative. avoid.
