Does not address the new test. Covers general concepts, but neither the contents nor the questions reflected the test. Very disappointed.Plus, so many errors they should be embarrassed. Typographical, content, factual, grammatical, you name it, I found it. So little support from the national office when I called them for help. They weren't interested in any input on the book.

It would have been nice to have more practice questions in the book. The questions and information provided were helpful (besides the errors that have been mentioned in previous reviews). It gave helpful hints and overall was useful for preparing for the ANCC certification exam.

This book has several errors, which is annoying and distracting when you are studying. However, this is the only book I used to study and passed my boards on my first shot which is why I am giving it three stars.

Its what you need to know for the test. Sucks to pay so much but I bought this and the review question from the ANCC site and passed the test without difficulty. I highly recommend it in preparing.

This review book is based on the published test plan by the ANCC. I like its outline format, the test prep section offers helpful hints, and all content is discussed as relevant to the test plan. I do wish it had more review questions - there are some, and they are pretty good, but if there were more, I would've chosen a 5 star rating. At this point, I haven't taken boards yet, so it's difficult to say if it is a great resource for preparing, but since it follows the test plan, I think it is worth the expense.

Well, I passed the ANCC PMHNP exam, so I guess it did what it needed to do, huh? Otherwise, a pretty dull reference book.
